^It wasn’t a single, it was a “promo single”. Maybe because it had Nicki? Or maybe it had to do with the Reebok deal, but GIAW is the official 2nd single

Or maybe it had to do with the Reebok deal, but GIAW is the official 2nd single I think she released it because it featured Nicki. Nicki released Bed not long after that, right? Or was it before? Anyways, I think they were both hoping at least one of those songs would replicate the success that Side to Side had.

iHype. I noticed that Yes Indeed just hit #1 on Urban radio with today's update. I know that counts as his 6th #1 on the Urban radio format this year, but do you have any idea how many he has in total?

I hope Breathin will be the next single. She's got at least 4 songs that I can see being potential singles.

Yeah I'm not loving sweetener tbh. The Pharellel tracks can go, sweetener can go, most of the other ones are just.... Boring. Goodnight n go, breathin and evrerytime are the only songs on it that I'm feeling.
Breathin seems to be the fan favorite so far. So hopefully that blows up but a lot of the songs don't really sound like radio material.

I'm not sure about Mediabase's Urban radio chart, specifically, but Drake is credited with 25 #1 hits on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart. Yes Indeed will be his 26th if it happens.

He's been missing on his song appearances since he hit a sweet spot in 2013. Everything since then has been wack or just basic. NTLTC, GIAW and like 5, 6 other songs are really what carry that album.

Aretha Franklin's Music Sales Gain 1,568% in U.S. Following Her Death
News
By Keith Caulfield | August 17, 2018 11:48 AM EDT
Following the death of Aretha Franklin on Thursday (Aug. 16), sales of the Queen of Soul’s music catalog grew tremendously in the U.S., according to initial sales reports from Nielsen Music.
Her combined album and digital song sales increased by 1,568 percent on Aug. 16, as compared to Aug. 15. On the day of her passing, the legendary diva sold 134,000 combined albums and digital song downloads, up from 8,000 the previous day.
Isolating just Franklin’s digital songs, they sold 115,000 downloads – up 1,569 percent versus the day before, when they sold 7,000.
Franklin’s top 10 selling songs on Aug. 16 were: “Respect” (16,000), “A Natural Woman (You Make Me Feel Like)” (13,000), “I Say a Little Prayer” (10,000), “Chain of Fools” (8,000), “Think” (8,000), “Freeway of Love” (4,000), “Until You Come Back To Me (That’s What I’m Gonna Do)” (4,000), “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me), with George Michael (4,000), “I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)” (3,000) and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” (3,000).
In terms of album sales, her assorted titles sold 19,000 copies on Aug. 16, an increase of 1,566 percent over the 1,000 copies her albums sold on Aug. 15.
Her top five selling albums on Aug. 16 included four best-of collections, along with her iconic gospel set, Amazing Grace. Her top sellers were: 30 Greatest Hits (10,000), Amazing Grace (2,000), Queen of Soul: The Best of Aretha Franklin (1,000), Soul Queen (1,000) and The Best of Aretha Franklin (1,000).
Further news about streaming gains of Franklin’s catalog will be reported in the coming days. An array of her albums and songs are also expected to make an impact on next week’s Billboard charts.

If it weren't for Aretha's passing away, Made for Now would be #1 in iTunes. It might be Janet's first song charting in the Hot 100 in 14 years.

Who will release Despacito 2? And will it debut #1 on the Billboard Hot 100? A few days ago my neighbour's 8 month old daughter listened to music for the first time. I had the privilege to make her listen to Despacito and all of a sudden she started walking wtfff. The last time something like this happened was during Mozart. So, what if Mozart is nothing but despacito and if that's true.... Then.... DESPACITO BY LUIS FONSI FT. DADDY YANKEE IS NOTHING BUT DESPACITO 2 HOLY SHID. WE ALREADY HAD DESPACITO 2 ALL ALONG. . God indeed answers in mysterious ways 🤔

Just listened to Promises by Calvin Harris & Sam Smith. It's a really catchy song, but I think a different artist as the feature would have made it much better.
