Drake's delivery is the same on almost every song even if his production is different

Wow Janet would of debuted a lot higher without Ariana's bomb, it just gained a lot on iTunes so I expect it to rise next week.

Wow Janet would of debuted a lot higher without Ariana's bomb, it just gained a lot on iTunes so I expect it to rise next week.I'd be wary of that expectation. It's not going to have as much video streaming support (it's out of the top 200 on YouTube as of today after debuting in the top 20). Sales will likely be less than they were this week, too. There was a lot more competition on iTunes last week, so her higher number was likely due to that. Her increases today aren't necessarily going to amount to much relative to last week since there's nothing selling that big thing week outside of maybe BTS front-loadedness. Not ruling it out, just don't be fooled by iTunes. The video views have gone way down (which was a big part of its debut), and airplay is very minimal.

She's gaining airplay and I'm expecting her to sell 10-16k second week, which should be enough to keep her on the Hot 100. Relatively low, but Ariana is gonna drop a lot so it could easily rise.

Agreed - but it's interesting how his Scorpion singles aren't as dominant as radio as they are on digital sales and streaming I would've thought radio would be a strong metric for him How is top 3 not a strong metric? Plus aren't they all going to #1 on Rhythmic and Urban? It's just that Top 40 is holding the songs back overall. The songs ahead of him tend to have concurrent Top 40, Rhythmic, Hot AC, and AC support. I said it wasn't as dominant on radio as it was on streaming/digital sales and that is true No one said it wasn't doing well on radio, it just isn't as monstrous as the other components

Agreed - but he's had bigger radio hits like "Best I Ever Had", "One Dance" and "Hotline Bling" so there's definitely potential for more radio support "BIEH" peaked at #9 at Top 40, so I wouldn't include it. "One Dance" and "Hotline Bling" were a bit bigger in terms of overall, but this has been the most consistent Drake era yet in terms of airplay. He usually only gets 1 hit at Top 40 per album. I agree - it is the most consistent era in terms of airplay - 3 top 3 radio hits is definitely impressive, but "One Dance" blew the Scorpion singles out of the water in terms of airplay

Nicki Minaj - 17 top 10s Bruce Springsteen - 12 top 10s Missy Elliott - 10 top 10s Ariana Grande - 10 top 10s Only artists with 10+ top 10s and no #1's. Thanks! It looks like Nicki had 6 as lead and Missy had 5 as lead, just to add an asterisk. Just outside, Creedence Clearwater Revival also has 9 top 10s. Bow many does Selena Gomez have? I’d image she has 8 or 9 by now right?

She’s had a lot of hits that got stuck in the 20s but managed to stick around for awhile (I’m still shocked Naturally and Love You Like A Love Song weren’t top ten hits).

Billboard Top 10 from 60, 55, 50, 45, and 40 years ago: August 31, 196302 02 Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter From Camp) - Allan Sherman I had no idea this was an actual song that charted. Lol I can't not associate that song with the Simpsons "Marge is Lisa at Camp Grenada?"

Ariana Grande Earns 10th Top 10 Hit, Lands 10 Songs on Billboard Hot 100 News By Xander Zellner | August 27, 2018 5:27 PM EDT
Grande becomes just the fourth woman to chart at least 10 songs on the Hot 100 simultaneously. As Ariana Grande celebrates her third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated Sept. 1) with Sweetener, nine of its songs populate the Billboard Hot 100, while she also grabs a 10th hit on the list by way of a feature on Nicki Minaj's "Bed."
“No Tears Left to Cry” and “God Is a Woman” chart the highest on the Hot 100, at Nos. 7 and 8, respectively. While the former debuted and peaked at No. 3 in May, the latter vaults from No. 30, reaching the top 10 for the first time and earning Grande her 10th top 10 hit.
Here is a look at all 10 of Grande’s top 10 hits on the Hot 100, sorted chronologically: Title, Hot 100 Peak Position, Peak Date “The Way,” featuring Mac Miller, No. 9, June 22, 2013 “Problem,” featuring Iggy Azalea, No. 2, June 7, 2014 “Break Free,” featuring Zedd, No. 4, Aug. 30, 2014 “Bang Bang,” with Jessie J & Nicki Minaj, No. 3, Oct. 4, 2014 “Love Me Harder,” with The Weeknd, No. 7, Nov. 22, 2014 “Focus,” No. 7, Nov. 21, 2015 “Dangerous Woman,” No. 8, June 11, 2016 “Side To Side,” featuring Nicki Minaj, No. 4, Dec. 3, 2016 “No Tear Left to Cry,” No. 3, May 5, 2018 “God Is A Woman,” No. 8, Sept. 1, 2018
Outside of the top 10, Grande charts eight additional tracks, seven of which are from Sweetener. “Breathin” earns the distinction as the highest debut of the week on the Hot 100, opening at No. 22 and earning Grande her 14th top 40 hit. Here’s a look at all of Ariana’s songs on the new, Sept. 1-dated Hot 100: Hot 100 Rank, Title No. 7, “No Tears Left to Cry” No. 8, “God Is A Woman” No. 22, “Breathin” (debut) No. 55, “Sweetener” (debut) No. 62, “Everytime” (debut) No. 72, “R.E.M” (debut) No. 87, “Goodnight N Go” (debut) No. 89, “The Light Is Coming,” featuring Nicki Minaj (re-entry) No. 91, “Bed” (Nicki Minaj featuring Ariana Grande) No. 99, “Pete Davidson” (debut)
Notably, Grande becomes just the fourth woman to ever chart at least 10 songs on the Hot 100 simultaneously. Taylor Swift achieved the feat first on the Nov. 30, 2010-dated chart, when she landed 11 tracks on the chart from Speak Now. Beyoncé has nabbed at least 10 songs on the chart simultaneously twice. She charted 12 songs on the Hot 100 on the May 14, 2016 chart, after the release of Lemonade. The following week, she tallied 11 tracks on the chart. Cardi B scored a whopping 13 tracks on the Hot 100 simultaneously earlier this year, on the April 21 and April 28-dated charts, following the release of Invasion of Privacy. Drake holds the overall record for most simultaneous Hot 100 hits, with 27 (July 14, 2018).

I know I just wanted to show how hard is for a pop female artist (excluding Adele) to get a hit nowadays, by not counting collabs with rappers.
