In other news... The Chainsmokers have released a new single. (Again). The fact that they went from having one of the top 10 biggest songs of the century a mere 20+ months ago, to now barely charting in the top 40 with a multitude of songs since there last top 10 hit just over a year ago is tragic, and streaming can't be the reason because their digital sales have been abysmal too. I can't. The 'LMFAO' of the late-10's. They're flopping because they trying to be Twenty One Pilots lol. New track is a return to EDM and it's already outperforming all tgeir singles post SJLT. I like it a lot so hopefully it picks up on streaming. |

Good to see the Top 4 getting better updates today. It's amazing how potent of a radio artist Post Malone has become already. Of course, his biggest supporter as far as formats go is Pop, where 95% of other rappers struggle to get any stride, but still. It's really impressive. He pulls in streams and does incredibly well on radio. His songs also have crazy longevity on the charts. He plays his cards right and he could be here for a very long time.

All his songs do well on there, songs that if someone like Drake made, wouldn't perform half as well. |

I feel like we should put an asterisk next to those two top tens considering it was only added 5 days after release to try and boost streams. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand 6ix9ine. The beats are extremely aggressive, and without a solid grasp of being a pedophile, most of the music will go over a typical viewers’ head. There's also 6ix9ine’s depressing outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from all the depressing things, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of Gummo, to realise that they're not just depressing- they say something deep about LIFE, which is, pleading guilty to pedophilia. As a consequence people who dislike 6ix9ine truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depression in 6's existential catchphrase "Blicky got the stiffy uh". I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those music-lovers scratching their heads in anger as Daniel Hernandez’s genius wit unfolds itself on their mp3 players. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
