Wow radio is really late on Lucid Dreams I'm surprised radio picked it up, it looked like it was stalling on radio at one point

Yeah, notice my edit. I figured it out immediately after typing my post. Even if Perfect falls off this week, it is entirely possible it returns the next week. That would be CRAZIER. To return it would need a "cultural reason" (Grammy, Super Bowl, death, etc). Yeah once it falls below #25 I think it would be removed for good, at least for the time being, as that's my understanding of how the rules work? If in the future it somehow gains enough points to re-enter the top 25, it's not exactly clear under what circumstances and how much time would need to pass in order for that to be allowed, because I remember Uptown Funk re-charted into the top 25 not long after it left, but I don't think they would allow songs to constantly bob in and out of the chart with such shorts breaks in between.

It can flip flop above and below 25 if it shows concurrent gains in the metrics as well.
However, if it falls from #24 to #26 and then "deserves" to return to #24 the next week due to a week chart week, and is declining in all metrics, it would not rechart.
Uptown Funk reentered because it gained in the individual metrics

Wow Rap Devil projected to debut #36 this week with only a few days of tracking. Ugh. Next week it most likely will get top 10 due to it being added to itunes and spotify.

Sorry but I just want a 1. I do miss EDM pop being the top genre like in 2008 - 2013. The #1 thing I miss about 2008 - 2013 is how many #1s from different artist we had each year. 2017 was basically Despacito and Ed sheran. 2018 is basically Drake and Cardi B. I hate when 3 songs hog the top 3 for 10+ weeks.

So, I noticed on the latest YouTube US daily insights chart update that Sicko Mode now credits Swae Lee and Drake as features. Wasn't so in the last update. I'm wondering if this change was made across all streaming platforms and iTunes as well? If the change is official, Billboard might officially credit Drake with another top 10 in their Hot 100 chart article tomorrow.

I just can't wait for the next Electronic pop rise. History has shown that genres come and go. I hope the next electronic pop trend provides some new classics. No offense but this new mainstream hip hop trend is lame. Drake and Cardi are hogging the top spots. Album bombs are annoying and they mess up billboard charts. I could go on and on. 2018 hasn't been a bad year for music as far as quality.

September 14, 196801 01 People Got To Be Free - The Young Rascals (5th and final week at #1) 02 04 Harper Valley P.T.A. - Jeannie C. Riley 03 03 Light My Fire - Jose Feliciano 04 02 Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf 05 07 1, 2, 3, Red Light - 1910 Fruitgum Co. 06 06 The House That Jack Built - Aretha Franklin 07 08 You're All I Need To Get By - Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell 08 13 Hush - Deep Purple 09 05 Hello, I Love You - The Doors 10 NE Hey Jude - The Beatles The debut by The Beatles of Hey Jude on the chart for the week ending September 14th, 1968, was to date the highest debut ever on the Hot 100, and the very first time that an artist had debuted in the top 10. Not too surprising, since it was the first Beatles single in months, and only their second single of 1968 to even be released ( Lady Madonna had been released in March 1968 and had peaked at #4). Its history making debut in the top 10 bode well for the future of Hey Jude in the USA, but the Beatles and their American fans had no real idea how big their new single would ultimately be.
