I really do hope Drake can pull through and get a 10th week at #1 with In My Feelings. He'd break Usher's record for most weeks spent at #1 in a calendar year with 3 #1 songs. Usher set the record with 4 #1 songs. Would be an amazing end to a crazy year for Drake.

Meh I already knew that. It will probably be gone next week tho :) :). Drake is basically the Ed Sheeran of 2018. Lol, shoutout to Ed, but Ed didn't spend over half of a calendar year at #1. Ugh fine Drake is the Adele of 2018.

(Results coming Monday but we already know he’ll stay atop) and It’s already saturday for the new week (10th week) and streams are kind of being stable-ish, sales are not that far off from girls like you (plus GLY doesn’t have a discount anymore). We’ll see with radio this week tho

Does the sales discount really do anything at all with #1 hitting only about 40K a week?

Ironically, yes, now that the sales climate is so low but still eligible, the weighting's been jacked up so much that the 10-25k a discount can bring in good circumstances can be the deciding factor for a good number of positions in the top 10. Heck, 7k was enough to completely shift the order of an album bomb: All Mine had about 2 million more streams than Yikes, but because Yikes had 13k sales to All Mine's 6k, it ended up debuting 3 places higher on the Hot 100.

I don't know about I Love It becoming a hit. With so much cussing, how are they going to clean that up? I can't imagine a clean version sounding very good. Plus, with its extreme misogyny, I don't know how it would fly in this era of the #metoo movement. At only 2 minutes, it's also very short, and for some reason radio doesn't play very short songs like that. So, it seems that all these problems would hold it back from getting mass play at radio, which would hurt it a lot.

We’ll see with radio this week tho Yeah, I was kinda wondering if he'd be able to pull a 10th week at #1 with In My Feelings, and he just might pull it off if he doesn't start decreasing on radio again and Girls Like You doesn't start seeing massive increases on radio for next week. It's still holding well on streams and sales.

So Drake will tie Usher with the most weeks at #1 in a calendar year this coming Monday and needs to stay at #1 for another week to beat it? I'm always confused because people are talking about two charts in these threads..

I wonder why Simon predicted Perfect at #26 when that's not even possible.
Edit: Must be because it's in a tie with #25 points-wise. Nail biter!

The 2003 Top 10 is pretty epic. Beyonce was not playing with the 1-2 punch of Crazy in Love & Baby Boy.
