I have only listened "Just For The Record" for Kacey's BG vocals, but I loved it, so I need to listen to this in full at some point!

Pretty good album on my first listens. Could get better with more. Since he released Jericho, I knew he was one to follow. I mean, I loved his last album and all, but Jericho was super special and the video was *ahem* very nice to look at! LOL

Gave this a listen out of curiosity, but it's sadly not for me. His voice just has some odd quality to it that I can't get into at all, and this album felt like it dragged on and on. Wasn't bad outright, but fairly boring and uninteresting overall.

Some sadness in this album (and Halloween EP) are just too over-dramatic that it sounds more like a gimmick than real emotion. Plus most of the melodies are meh and not distinctive enough. That being said, Mockingbird and Jericho are nice songs, and Brightly Burst Into the Air is the best to balance the mood.
