Simon does get his predictions wrong from time to time, like when some of the available data is wrong, but for the most part, his early and final predictions are right. That's why he's such a referenced chart predictor. So like as I was saying maybe this week is one of those weeks he will be grossly wrong and the prediction running in this thread will be right.Β Anything is possible of course,Β However, based on his track record... Exactly. Based on his track record and on the record of other chart predictors on this forum, who ALL don't have I Love It debuting anywhere close to #1, I'd say it's not happening this week. IMF and GLY aren't falling hard enough and ILI isn't rising fast enough for that to happen, at least, not this week. It's still left to see if ILI will get some magical boost from it becoming super viral. Other than that, the #1 song for this tracking week will definitely be between IMF/GLY. |

Have we ever gotten an explanation as to why Rap Devil didn't chart last week? Simon predicted it at #36, but it didn't appear at all. Did he just overestimate its YouTube streams? Didnβt YouTube themselves report 28m streams? Thatβs 110% enough to chart. Even 5 million streams and no sales/radio and you could crack Hot 100. I would guess the song isnβt regisered on content ID which properly tracks and sends streams from YouTube to Nielsen when detected for a song. |

I Love It is going to be nowhere near #1. It's doing very well on streaming but not amazingly well (still under 2m on Spotify for example). It's not In My Feelings, more like Fefe. Its Youtube numbers have gone down significantly in last few days (from 14m WW to 8m)
