"In My Feelings" projected to fall to #10. DAMN! Will this be the first song to spend 10 weeks or more at #1 that spent less than 15 weeks in the top 10 overall since Olivia Newton John's "Physical" in 1981/1982? ....... Olivia Newton John - Physical. 10 weeks at #1 & 14 weeks in the top 10. Prior to that: Debby Boone - You Light Up My Life. 10 weeks at #1 & 14 weeks in the top 10. ....... This song has LITERALLY been nothing but YouTube video streams and Airplay though out 70% of it's run thus far, and now they're both falling (have fallen) faster than Niagara. It's peak was huge nonetheless. Physical chart run 3-1(10)-4-7-8-9 (15 weeks)

I’m honestly surprised happier is doing really well on sales and streaming.. it’s not even that good. Like it’s not bad but not great.. it’s shaping up to be top 3 REALLY soon..

Also: not a song that spent 26 weeks in the top 10 (God’s Plan) only lasting 10 weeks outside the the top 10 to then fall completely off the charts

While it's true that IMF still has good on-demand, if we ignore the "literally" in kierz' assertion and instead go with "by a majority", it does hold. In My Feelings (proportion of YouTube & Airplay; all YT streams assumed free, data based on fhas' numbers after the fact) Week 01 (#6 - NE) - 5.76% Week 02 (#1 - 01) - 14.0% Week 03 (#1 - 02) - 35.2% Week 04 (#1 - 03) - 43.2% Week 05 (#1 - 04) - 50.5% Week 06 (#1 - 05) - 57.1% Week 07 (#1 - 06) - 58.4% Week 08 (#1 - 07) - 59.1% Week 09 (#1 - 08) - 56.8% Week 10 (#1 - 09) - 57.6% Week 11 (#1 - 10) - 57.4% Week 12 (#2 - DW) - 55.1% Week 13 (#4 - DW) - ---- Of the weeks we know, 2/3 satisfy the condition, and assuming safely that week 13 will be a majority once more, 9/13 weeks will qualify, equaling 69%, rather close considering these are in blocks of weeks. Also, 70% of the weeks at #1 were indeed majority YT and airplay. Interesting.

So Taylor Swift will be performing "I Did Something Bad" at the AMAs. I guess that's the next single then? No she just performing the fan favorite from the album like how she did all too well at the Grammys

Once a song reached its peak they dropped it and onto the next single. Once a song was out of the top 10, it usually didn’t last much longer in the top 40.

It’s like the 2000s again. Lil Wayne taking over the charts and in the top 10 with a dead artist. Maroon 5 at #1. Eminem in the top 10. and Kanye’s here too! Now is the perfect time for Drake, Kanye, Eminem and Lil Wayne to make make a Forever Part II. I think it would be an even bigger hit than the first time (plus if they could get it released in the next couple of weeks it would be the easiest #1 ever because the points are so low atm lol). Also, I've listened to a bunch of new songs high up the Hot 100 that I haven't heard before yesterday (I'm losing track of current music, and I'm only in my mid-20s...). Trip is AMAZING! I love Falling Down is a great song but nothing like how I expected it to sound. I love most of Eminem's recent songs. He's won be back after I was pissed off that he did a diss track against Trump. I Love It is a funny song and quite catchy. Marshmello's song is decent, and the video is amazing. The Lil Baby songs are better than I expected them to be. Natural is OK, but I'm still waiting for an Imagine Dragons song as good as Radioactive. Selena Gomez's song is pretty generic, I think she's the most consistently disappointing pop star in the past few years. Songs like Good For You, Same Old Love, Come & Get It and Naturally were great, but Back To You and her recent songs with Kygo and Marshmello are meh.

Drake Announces Michael Jackson Collaboration 'Don't Matter to Me' as the Next 'Scorpion' Single
10/3/2018 by Gary Trust
Drake 'Scorpion' The song follows three top five hits from the set on the Radio Songs chart.
The 6 God and the King of Pop are headed to radio together.
Republic Records announced on Oct. 2 that Drake's "Don't Matter to Me," featuring Michael Jackson, is the next radio single from Drake's album Scorpion. The label will begin promoting the track to pop, adult pop and rhythmic stations next week.
So far, four cuts from Scorpion have hit Billboard's all-genre Radio Songs chart, with the first three all reaching No. 3 peaks: "God's Plan" (March 17), "Nice for What" (June 30) and "In My Feelings" (Aug. 11). "Nonstop" holds at its No. 28 high on the latest, Oct. 6-dated chart, with 36.9 million audience impressions, up 4 percent, in the tracking week ending Sept. 30, according to Nielsen Music.
On the Rhythmic Songs chart, "Plan," "Nice" and "Feelings" spent six, six and four weeks at No. 1, respectively (with "Nonstop" up to No. 6 this week). On Pop Songs, the three tracks rose to Nos. 4, 11 and 6, respectively. None of the three songs has reached the Adult Pop Songs chart.
Driven most heavily by streaming during their chart-topping runs, "Plan," "Nice" and "Feelings" ruled the all-genre, streaming, airplay and sales-driven Billboard Hot 100 chart for 11, eight and 10 weeks, respectively, contributing to Drake's one-year-record 29 weeks at No. 1 in 2018.
"Nonstop" debuted at its No. 2 Hot 100 peak on July 14, the week that Scorpion blasted in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The same week, "Matter" bowed at its No. 9 Hot 100 high, as Drake upped his count to 31 top 10s (with a record seven songs in the top 10 simultaneously) and Jackson notched his 30th top 10, and second posthumously, following his 2009 death; "Love Never Felt So Good," with Justin Timberlake, hit No. 9 in 2014.
"Matter" features previously unreleased vocals from Jackson, originally recorded in 1983.
Scorpion spent its first five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has logged all 13 of its frames on the list in the top five. The set has sold 287,000 copies in the U.S. through Sept. 27, while its songs have drawn 5.1 billion on-demand audio and video streams.

I just discovered "Big Love" by the Black Eyed Peas and loved it. Sad to think it probably won't make an impact because their time has passed... I can really hate the music world sometimes.
Oh well, best of luck to them.

BradGa up to #101 on Spotify, still comfortably #1 on iTunes and video getting +1.7m views daily globally (probably half from the US?). Top 50 should be in lock and without Lil Wayne, top 40. Absolutely amazing!

She's sorely confused if she thinks IDSB is the fan favorite of this album. It is, most streamed album track all the swifties want it as a single Most streamed album track does not mean it's the fan favorite. It just means it has the most playlist exposure. Plus, it's the first non-single track on the album. If any non-fans are trying to listen to the album, that would be the first one they'd hit and likely end at. Statistically streams from non-singles are always higher at the top than they are the bottom of the album. Also, no, not all of her fans wanted it as a single. If you followed along at all to any of the trillion discussions about her future single options, IDSB is probably the most divisive. Not to mention, fans wanting something as a single does not mean it's the fan favorite. A fan favorite is just the song fans love the most. There really isn't any way to measure that other than just asking everyone what their favorite track is. People don't necessarily listen to their favorite track the most nor do they want their favorite track as a single. The fan favorite of reputation is Getaway Car. It wouldn't be my choice as best track or as a single, but it's very clearly the overall fan favorite. It has been since day one.

Radio is really late for Lucid Dreams huh. Yes and no. It wasn't pushed to radio immediately, and it wasn't pushed to pop at all until fairly recently. It's already peaked on urban, the current #1 on rhythmic, but most of its gains are coming from pop.

Juice just dropped the video for "Black & White". Really hoping it can give the song more traction, because I feel it's the best song by far on Goodbye and Good Riddance.

Does anyone have a Spotify chart for the entire year of 2018 so far, thought that would be cool for the United States. The best anyone could possibly have is if you manually added up the daily or weekly top 200 for the year, but it wouldn't be completely correct since it would be missing data from when songs are outside the top 200, which could be as high as 1.4 million per week.
