It felt like it took AGES for this masterpiece to arrive after the massive smash that was "Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)." She initially tried to start recording a follow-up to Mama's Gun in early 2002, but wasn't feeling inspired. So she embarked upon the Frustrated Artist Tour to go out on the road and work on new music. This caused the release to be pushed back about a year. However, IMHO it was well worth the wait. Despite the short tracklisting, many of the songs are quite long and create such a MOOD. Someday I want to listen to this album while high, because I'm sure it'll be even better. Also, "I Want You" describes my feelings every time I have a new crush. Discuss 1. World Keeps Turnin' (Intro) 2. Bump It 3. Back in the Day (Puff) 4. I Want You 5. Woo 6. The Grind (f/ Dead Prez) 7. Danger 8. Think Twice 9. Love of My Life Worldwide (f/ Queen Latifah, Bahamadia, Angie Stone) 10. World Keeps Turnin' (Outro) UK & Japan Bonus Tracks 11. Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop) {from the Brown Sugar OST} 12. Hollywood {from the Bamboozled OST}

I need to quit playing & listen to this album. A friend put me on 'I Want You'. If the album follows that vibe, I know I would love this album.

"Love of My Life" is a BOP, but I never got into this album as a whole. I need to listen to "I Want You."

I like it, but it's among her weaker projects. I love "Back In The Day" and "I Want You".
