That just means radio just doesn't wanna let go of it, also Wheels on the damn Bus has like 2 billion views lmao. I've only seen mega pop heads and people who just listen to radio like this song, its not a song people can actually get excited over maybe because people actually enjoy the song.... I know shocking. They wouldn't listen if they hated it. Ok what does your example have to do with literally anything? Wheels on the bus is literally a classic kids song. There's a plethora of kids songs and videos with well over 500M views because kids could watch a video 1000 times. Wheels on the bus has more views than nearly every number one of this decade, so clearly no one can get excited about any of those songs.. What kinda dog s**t example is this lol? Wow fans of pop like the biggest pop song? Wow radio listeners like the most listened radio song? Wow what shocking revelations. it is shocking yeah because the song is boring af

Travis Scott's 'Sicko Mode' Hits No. 1 On the Rhythmic Songs Chart
10/22/2018 by Trevor Anderson
Travis Scott earns his fourth No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs airplay chart as “Sicko Mode” struts 4-1 on the ranking dated Oct. 27. The song takes the chart crown thanks to a strong 15 percent gain in plays in the week ending Oct. 21, according to Nielsen Music.
Scott previously ruled the chart with his first Rhythmic Songs entry, “Antidote,” a two-week champ in 2016. He’s since occupied the top slot with “Goosebumps,” (one week in 2017) and as a featured artist on Miguel’s “Sky Walker,” which led for one week in February.
In addition, “Mode” completes the fastest sprint to No. 1 among Scott’s four leaders. “Mode” reaches the top in its 10th week on the chart, besting “Antidote” (12), “Goosebumps” (14) and “Walker” (20).
The new song’s quick rise echoes the major surge in Scott’s profile throughout 2018. “Mode” features on the Houston native’s latest studio LP, Astroworld, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in August with the second-best start by an album this year. Its mighty start then powered all 17 of its songs onto the Billboard Hot 100, with two -- “Mode” and “Stargazing” -- opening in the top 10.
If “Mode” is to extend its reign atop Rhythmic Songs, the most pressing challenge will come from Drake, whose “Nonstop” steps 3-2 and posts an 8 percent lift in weekly plays. Notably, as most listeners may know, Drake delivers uncredited vocals on “Mode.”
Beyond its Rhythmic Songs coronation, “Mode” continues to improve across other radio charts: It ascends 8-6 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and earns the chart’s Greatest Gainer tag via a 14 percent jump to 23.6 million in audience in the week ending Oct. 21. Plus, it climbs into the top five of Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop (6-5) through a 9 percent bump in plays in the same period.

I hate how “Girls Like You” has blocked three songs from hitting number one. At least “In My Feelings” did not block any songs from number one as “I Like It” and “Girls Like You” both hit number one eventually. “Girls Like You” blocking “Mona Lisa”, “Lucid Dreams”, and now “Zeze” is quite unfortunate One of those songs was out of the top 20 a week later. And ZEZE will probably be out of the top 5 next week. Girls like you saving the Hot 100 from more quick #1 hits.

Quick #1 hits are really fun to watch tho Like, imagine how fucking cool it would've been to watch a song go from #1 to #23, like holy shit!! Remember when we were getting #1 after #1 this summer? That was cool and interesting to see! Girls Like You isn't gonna be one of those songs that hits 10 weeks or anything and its incredibly weak as is. It's not interesting to watch it at #1, its just annoying at this point.

I swear we run in circles here every week No progression at all. Same old same old s**t. In these threads, we pretty much only discuss the top of the Hot 100. Theres 100 songs to talk about and we only talk about 5-10, usually the top 10 and maybe some fan favorites lingering in the top 40. There's not a lot of room for good discussion the way these threads roll

ZEZE isn’t an album track, it’s not gonna fall very far next week, probably the same situation as Drip Too Hard.

Since Drake's credited on the video for SICKO MODE, and that will be a significant source of its chart points next week, will Billboard credit him and let him nab a 13th top ten this year (and possibly a 4th #1)?

Do you not get the point that it done by a rapist? Firstly, that doesn't change the song in any way. The song is still good. And second, he isn't a rapist. So all you really have to do is ignore it, or embrace it. I don't think that we should be awarding rapists, how would you feel if you worked with one? Your kids worked with one etc

The Girls Like You music video is not even iconic. The most iconic videos of 2018 would be Finesse, God's Plan, This Is America, and No Tears Left To Cry. The Nice For What music video had more emphasis on female empowerment than GLY. im pretty sure everyone has already forgotten about finesse

I mean, I guess it's about that point where people who are pop fans start complaining about how dull Girls Like You is because it's been #1 for so long. Though granted, it is a Maroon 5 song so the dull comments began when it first came out. I think the song is harmless, definitely a step above 9 out of every 10 Maroon 5 songs. I wouldn't have expected it to do as well as it has but it's not really a mystery why it has been.
