Finally they announce the next single! I was starting to think that they had dropped the ball.
Since I got their 2nd album, this song had always felt like it should be a single.

This is actually the 4th single from the CD. Temple Of Love We Should Be Heroes Will My Arms Be Strong Enough Chariots Of Fire The remixes are good, so look out for them when they are promoted.

This is actually the 4th single from the CD. I did not know that. :) The other two singles in between were great too. I guess there were no remixes, though, they were quite good on their own that those didn't really need any mixes.

Yes, "We Could Be Heroes" and "Will My Arms Be Strong Enough" were released as singles.
1. We Could Be Heroes 2. Say I Love You
1. Will My Arms Be Strong Enough 2. Walking The Night

The SoundFactory Reconstruction Mix is quite good. This mix steals, er, recreates the background bass/synth hook from House Of Prince's "Perfect Love" as remixed by Peter Rauhofer. That little element comes up every so often. I'm assuming that the dub version plays up that element.

I guess I just havent seen any swedish music charts...just was wondering how BWO usually chart compared to other releases in the country. BWO is probably one of the first acts (if not the first) in the world to be signed to a worldwide major label, EMI, who release their music in different labels (many times an indie label) around the world. You could say BWO has been limited and scattered around the world. I suppose the key word here is consistent, they've had some success, but they are hardly consistent. Outside of Sweden, they've had success in Denmark, Germany, Russia and a couple of other Euro countries. Their second album wasn't as successful as their first. In Sweden, they have only have one Top 10 hit (which went all the way to No. 1) on the Singles Chart , but they have fared a bit better on the airplay chart. Here's a breakdown of their chart placings in Sweden, in order of release date: ARTIST | TITLE | DATE OF ENTRY | PEAK POSITION | WEEKS IN CHART | Bodies Without Organs | Living In A Fantasy | 2004-05-14 | 44 | 3 | Bodies Without Organs | Conquering America | 2004-10-01 | 27 | 21 | Bodies Without Organs | Sixteen Tons Of Hardware | 2005-02-10 | 11 | 9 | Bodies Without Organs | Gone | 2005-04-07 | 40 | 2 | Bodies Without Organs | Open Door | 2005-05-19 | 28 | 15 | Bodies Without Organs | Sunshine In The Rain | 2005-09-22 | 12 | 17 | Bodies Without Organs | Voodoo Magic | 2005-12-15 | 38 | 8 | BWO | Temple Of Love | 2006-03-23 | 1 | 27 | BWO | We Could Be Heroes | 2006-06-01 | 22 | 17 | BWO | Will My Arms Be Strong Enough | 2006-09-21 | 39 | 5 | BWO | Chariots Of Fire | 2006-11-30 | 45 | 3 |
As I mentioned previously, BWO has a new record company in the UK, Shell Records / The Music House. They are currently promoting "Chariots Of Fire", and the commercial single has been penciled for a late-April release. BWO "Chariots Of Fire" [Capitol Sweden/ Shell Records / The Music House UK] UK Promo CD Maxi Single 1. Radio Edit 4.10 2. SoundFactory Reconstruction Club Mix 7.45 3. Credhedadz Remix 6.15 4. Brasco Remix Extended 6.42 5. Air Bureau Chi Riots and Fire Mix 6.42 6. SoundFactory Reconstruction Dub 8.15 Smash Hits dubbed Turbo B. the "Scariest Man In Planet Pop". I think that title now easily belongs to Alexander Bard.

"Chariots Of Fire" is the song that will never die, it seems. BWO will be now 'Conquering America', so to speak.
Their US label has commissioned new remixes of this song by Hex Hector (!). The single was released last month in Germany, and that CD Maxi contains the Hex Hector Radio Edit.

Their US label has commissioned new remixes of this song by Hex Hector (!). The single was released last month in Germany, and that CD Maxi contains the Hex Hector Radio Edit. I heard a clip of the Hex mix earlier today. It's just okay. The instrumental during the verses feels really monotonous and dissonant. Just me I guess. The earlier mixes are so much better. Especially SoundFactory's. That has way more energy and life in it. Clip of the Hex mix on this page: musikdownloads.alice.aol.de/alice/single/view.do?id=2364546
