Sicko Mode shouldn't be number 1. The Hot 100 threads are (at least in theory) kinda more about whether songs could be #1 rather than whether they should |

Girls Like You is breaking that record It has to be #1 for 28 more days after this chart is done. There's no way. It might get lucky to tie it, but it won't beat it for sure. |

It is still early predictions and simm was way off last week. On the predictions thread i still see everyone saying GLY staying #1. I'm pretty sure GLY will pull through. Happier is definitely going #1 next week tho. But Simon is the only one of the people who predicted so far that actually uses a formula so his will be the most accurate in terms of points and positions. Nah I'll just wait until billboard posts an articles instead of going by what simm says( a persom whos been way off these past few months ). |

I think I have Stockholm Syndrome with this board. The constant “this shouldn’t be #1, THIS should” bickering is so completely pointless and irrelevant (it has nothing to do with actually discussing chart stats, achievements, trivia, etc.)... and yet I keep coming back to torture myself more.
Aren’t there a TON of other forums and pages where you guys can discuss your personal faves and argue about song quality? Can’t we have one place here where people talk about interesting stats without having these opinion battles?

Girls Like You is actually dropping off on radio at a really steady rate, giving leeway to the #2 song, SICKO MODE which has streaming to back it up, plus decent radio. While Happier is very likely to take the top spot relatively soon, the weakness of the charts right now makes anything possible. |

There are lots of cases of uncredited artists with notable contributions. Most of the “divas” have had them — Janet with Herb Alpert, Madonna with Sidewalk Talk, Mariah with Babyface and now Drake too. I don’t think Billboard changes credits unless a label asks them to — and now most of those songs do get asterisks in record books.

Sicko mode could have easily been number 1 last week or this week if it just discounted the song on iTunes.. but maybe it’s drake’s (& nicki’s)spell on Travis to not go number 1 because drake isn’t credited
