Expected 80k for Metro and 60k for Takeoff. Didn't know what to expect from Vince but I was hoping for 40k. A rare case of me being overoptimistic I guess.

Metro has the entire top 4 on Apple Music so I’d be pretty surprised if they didn’t underestimate him.

This should be an easy #1 for Barbra barring a surprise underperformance, but she has one of the most loyal core bases out there.

Wonder why they don't have any projection for Kris Wu. Still best seller on iTunes at least.

Wow, Pentatonix's older Christmas albums are already back in the Top 200 on iTunes. Oddly, 'That's Christmas to Me' (#151) is higher than 'A Pentatonix Christmas' (#176).
Their new release 'Christmas is Here!' is currently still in the Top 20 at #18, while John Legend's 'A Legendary Christmas' is at #32.
We also have Michael Buble's 'Christmas' deluxe at #81, while the standard is at #152, Ingrid Michaelson's at #89, and Lauren Daigle's new deluxe edition of her holiday album. at #13.
It seems like once Halloween is over, the buying public immediately go for Christmas music.

It would be nice to see Queen score another top ten album (or two!).

I bought a Christmas cd last week. I likely won’t open it or listen to it until the end of the month.

Looks like Barbra’s album of anti-Trump anthems isn’t translating like her cover albums.

Those updated Metro and Takeoff numbers are much closer to what I would expect from those acts. Barbra is shockingly low.

Barbra needs to do promo QUICK today, missing top ten would be awful compared to her recent track record.

How upset will people get if Kris Wu blocks Streisand? I wouldn't say I'd be upset about it, it's just a bit of a bummer to see her streak of top 10s might finally be snapped. If you ignore the second Christmas album, every studio album she's released this century has debuted in the top 10 - top 5, actually. She has a 9-album streak of top 10 debuts going all the way back to 1993 and an 11-album streak of top 10 peaks going back to 1985. I was never a big fan of Barbra, but I massively respect her legend.

Barbra Streisand is one of a slew of veteran acts whose new music, understandably, doesn't get streamed much, thus one should look at Album Sales for a continuation/comparison of her track record. The sales figure is lowly for her, but it looks like she could be No. 2 in sales.
By the way, Troublemaker- perhaps change the thread title to include HITS, per the usual format? Thanks. :)

Several veteran acts have figured out the way to compete on the chart by bundling. Surprising Columbia didn’t push her to do that. If it does miss Top 10, telling a portion of your audience that you don’t want them. It is funny to think how someone like BS has been ‘harmed’ during this adminstration - something tells me her financial portfolio has benefited during the past 2 years and I doubt she’s disappointed about that. For BS the big thing will be trying to get that #1 album in 2020. That’ll give her #1 album in SEVEN decades. By any metric, her album longevity, output and consistency is probably only rivaled by The Rolling Stones.

Yeah, it’s not an even comparison because before streaming (and downloading), the only way to listen to a whole album was to buy it so everyone 8 to 88 had to do that. Now that sales are low, they’re pretty much limited to those aged 44 to 88 so by discounting streams, holidayguy is content silencing young music fans. That’s not cool.
