She never went anywhere! Can she have another Fearless or 1989 era? No. At best she could land Red level success. But the success level will likely be somewhere between Reputation and Red. And that’s excellent in these times. Universal is going to push her hard. They need to recoup their investment. So they are going to need one of those million plus openings, lol.
She does need to transition to being a better streaming artist...

If she tries to go all hip-hop and rhythmic again she’s doomed. Delicate was a success cuz it was pure pop and that’s what people want from her. It was almost a nostalgia single.

What if she did like a rock or country song? Like Perfect Illusion? It would be a disaster just like that single was. Country she would obviously excel in.

I feel like there's nowhere to go but down for her. Her career is twelve years old now (ten if you count from her first top 10 hit) and she's already had a massive era in 1989. I expect her next album to reach the same popularity as Reputation, perhaps a bit less. This. I feel like people are kind of tired of her. The best thing for her is probably doing another album like Red where she caters to both country and pop simultaneously, but I definitely think she's hit her peak with pop radio. I think she could potentially have a huge era if she went back to country though. Country radio would probably welcome her back with open arms considering how much more popular she became after she went full-on pop. Part of me feels like she should just slowly slide out of the scene as a performer and just write songs for other artists...

^^ Is that personal preference? Because the reviews and box office figures from her Reputation Tour say otherwise 💁🏼♂️

If you mean on a 1989 level when there was a new #1 hit seemingly every other month, than no; almost nobody can sustain that level of success or presence. Otherwise, yes, and in fact she doesn't even need to have a "comeback". Reputation was successful enough that more hits on a similar level would be sustained success, not a "comeback", unless years and years pass before her next era.
Artistically, I'm not sure how enduring future hits will be; it's already becoming difficult to remember the Reputation-era singles other than "Delicate" and "Look What You Made Me Do" (and the latter isn't always recalled in a positive way). But she should still be able to keep having hits in a manner that will look solid by comparison to anything other than 1989.

Taylor is getting a lot of good reviews from her Rep Tour Netflix at the moment. Taylor will be fine.
