“Don’t Toss Us Away” is one of Patty’s underrated and often overlooked singles. Her vocal delivery on the song is just great and I love these kind of country ballads which Patty always feels right at home on.

as you all can see "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" and "Chains" both had 18 points each, therefore they tied. The tie-breaker was the amount of #1 rankings, therefore "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" slips ahead!

Oh wow!!!!! I swear you have more ties as a rankdown host than anybody else  Definitely didn't see this finishing as a tie, but I am okay with it. Both "Timber" and "Chains" are among her most iconic early-career hits, so there's nothing wrong with this! |

This couldn't have ended any better than seeing "Chains" and "Timber, I'm Falling in Love" be the top 2 and a tie at that. Both of those songs are right up there with some of her all-time greats and I enjoy both of the songs just as much.
Looking forward to the next album which if I'm correct will the first one from the 90's!

Submitted! These were two very solid albums and were a quick easy breeze to listen to. I love her voice! (I must admit, being only 19 years old, I didn't grow up on artists like her, and let Patty fly under my radar growing up as a result. In fact, "On Your Way Home" from tim 's 2000s ladies rankdown was my introduction to her, despite having at least heard OF her.) Btw is it just me or does Patty look the very slightest bit like Reba in that album cover for On Down The Line? Now that I have this one done (and I'm going in order as according to due dates), it's time for the 2011 Year-End. Doesn't that one have like 120+ songs...??? ??? ??? |

Btw is it just me or does Patty look the very slightest bit like Reba in that album cover for On Down The Line? I definitely can see it, never really thought of it before. Glad to get your list, Patty has long been one of my favorite vocalist and as much as I've loved her voice I haven't dove into many of her earlier albums so these albums are discoveries for me as well but starting with the next album and on I am a lot more familiar and can tell you that she has some incredible albums coming up! |

This was a strong album, so the only song I didn't really care for was "Feelings of Love." It was meh.
