That's right... We haven't even gotten to the top 100 yet, and we are already beginning the #1 losses!!! Unfortunately for gonecountry, the support just wasn't there for his #1 :'( George Strait Junkie, always the trusty supporter of traditional country, joins gonecountry in the top 10 club, while several others have it in their top 20/top 50. However, the majority of the rankings landed in the 90s-110s, and zaclord 🌈 even gave this a last-place ranking... Personally, I am shocked to see this song out so low! I know Justin Moore isn't among a lot of peoples' favorite artists, but this song is not bad at all...

Ouch. That was pretty painful.
I know it’s pure radio fodder, but it was perfect summer radio fodder.
There were much much worse offenders that could have better taken this spot in my eyes.

God I wanted to put that Luke Bryan song lower but there were so many trash songs I couldn't tank it any harder. His lyrics are mind-numbing.

UGH I KNEW THIS CLUE WAS GOING TO BE KEITH!!! Wish I was around to have staked my claim to be proven right lol Hey boo! Do you want to be the first one to guess the next song? :) I know you've already revealed this but I'm going to take a guess without looking because this BETTER be that atrocious Blake Shelton song "Turnin' Me On". I will scroll down momentarily to see if I'm right

Very happy with all of these reveals. I actually love "Meant to Be", but it's not a country song at all, so I'm more than fine with it getting tanked to hell here.
Blake Shelton just seems to keep outdoing himself with how bad his music is because each single is worse. TMO may be one of my least faves from him ever. Yuck. Chase Rice is an embarrassment of a human Jason Aldean's song isn't THAT bad, but I really don't care about it much. Justin Moore... what the hell does anyone see in him? Literally zero redeeming qualities. His voice is horrendous, he has never released a single single that is even remotely decent. He's one of the most faceless, forgettable consistent hitmakers in the genre and I will never ever understand how he's had one lick of success. I do not regret my #115 placement of that awful song

Sam Hunt and Chase Rice have great song with their respective entries. To be 100% honest, I thought both of them would be in the top 50 at least lol

Both of those songs deserve to leave though. Yuck.

Take notes, Keith Urban... "Girl Like You" is a good example of how to do a weird pop electronic sound effect that leads the instrumentation of your song, without it sounding hellacious... It is still a bad song with one of the most cheesy lines: I've never met a girl like you/That's ever done it quite like you do. It comes from the bro-country era. Like You Were Mine from the album also had these weird sound effects if I remembered correctly.

I hate this song. Dylan Scott is horrid as a vocalist. Radio wouldn't let this slice of bro country sleaze song die. Goodbye and good riddance. Have you heard him live? Sure his material might be some of the most “bro” right now, but dude can flat out SANGGGG PREACH. I saw him live and was blown away. One of the best new male vocalists I've heard, with ease. Also in re: the idea that everybody tanked Chase Rice's song because he's a d-bag... I personally tanked it because his vocals are grating and the production was bland af. Somebody with a better voice and production team could've surely elevated it (I can picture Tim McGraw knocking it out of the park), but as it is, it's terrible, with or without the knowledge of him being a douche. Also [2] glad to see Barf Brooks not last too long.

"Three Chords And The Truth" is a damn good song, especially when you consider that Chase Rice is the one singing it. In fact, I think that him singing it is the only reason that it is leaving us in the bottom 15 of this rankdown... If somebody even marginally less-hated such as Luke Bryan sang it, it probably would have finished a good 30 positions higher than this. so I really like the lyrics to "Three Chords and the Truth" but I absolutely cannot tolerate listening to him 'sing' because he uses too much autotune that it does not sound good at all. So he could be singing the greatest song ever written and it would still be low cause he can't sing. Sorry, not sorry. Results are going how I expected for the most part. Am shocked that "Kinda Don't Care" is out already, only one that surprised me. I don't love the song by any means but I enjoy it well enough so I definitely think it deserved better. Also, I enjoy "Comin' Home". I get the complaints that people have and the song is not a favorite by any means but I enjoy it enough and I like Keith's voice a lot. Meh, whatever, glad I helped it not be in last place lol. oh and THANK GOD that trash that is "Turnin' Me On" is gone. I don't understand how Blake continiously annoys me more and more every single he releases but while I think I dislike "Boys 'Round Here" more, this would be my 2nd most disliked song I've ever heard from him.

I thought Caught Up In The Country was cute. Never would've thought it'd get last place. :( Downtown's Dead is pretty decent for a Sam Hunt song, too.
Other than that, I'm pretty cool with these eliminations.

"Turnin Me On" could have been good but something about it is pretty dreadful, especially in the chorus. Can't quite put my finger on why but it's definitely a station changer for me. "Meant To Be" SUCKS regardless of what genre it's in. What a horrid, mind-numbingly bad song. I can't stand Rexha. I can't stand FGL. The fact that this song was so huge says to me that quality is not only subjective, but altogether optional! I am so glad this got tanked here. I don't like "Hooked" at all BUT I do like Dylan Scott quite a bit. However, his new music is lost on me. "All Day Long" by Garth is a good song HOWEVER the production sounds cheap as hell and Garth sounds as atrocious as ever on it, so hard pass for me. I always change the station when it's on. I AM shocked and a bit saddened that Montgomery Gentry is so low tho with "Get Down South" - I will say the verse is pretty damn dreadful, but I love the melody in the chorus and think Troy Gentry absolutely nailed the vocal. Not a song I go out of my way to listen to, but would listen to it when playing the album. "Downtown's Dead" is a pretty dead song lol. Nothing good about it. Nothin particularly horrible about it. It's simply there. The chorus of "Three Chords and the Truth" is good enough, but it's Chase. I find it hard to truly enjoy anything by him. I don't think he's very good. Plus, Sara's song >>>>>>>>>> than this one. Let me pretend to be shocked for a second that you all tanked a great song by Jason Aldean! Gasp oh my god! Also you all did "Kinda Don't Care" SO dirty. That song is straight up country goodness... it's the perfect blend of country/rock and traditional. I thought this one would do better. That "Sunrise Sunset Sunburn" whatever song by Luke is hella annoying. Not much else to say about it. Also: Oh thank god my bottom two left already! If "Up Down" had gotten any higher than what number I put it at I would have thrown up. Morgan Wallen has no business in music. I hated him on the Voice and hate him even more now. You know how much I detested him on The Voice... I disliked him even more than you did! He butchered a lot of songs while on that show. His voice was bad enough on there, and I agree he sounds even worse in country. Him singing in the beginning of the "Up Down" video is a good example as to why. Can't believe he's making it in the business. Being one of the 'bro' dudes is certainly helping him out IMO.
