This is more like "Going South" like his career did. I LOVE early Brad but I think after his first four albums he just used the same guitar riff for everything and tried to call it a new song. Then when he did try to change his sound the last two records, no one cared anymore.
Though, I am obsessed with 'River Bank' as far as his later material goes.

"Heaven South" isn't bad by any means, it is just SO FREAKING BORING... I've heard it maybe a half dozen times now, and I still don't remember anything about it...
Brad Paisley is capable of SO much better.

99. "There Was This Girl" - Riley Green
Okay, but this completely rips off this FLAWLESS classic by the FLAWLESS Chris Cagle and I can't get over it or un-hear it. Also, SUPER bummed everyone hates Chris Young now apparently. I remember being the ONLY fan of his when he opened for Emerson Drive in 2007 at my local fair. He was FLAWLESS. Voted for him every week on Nashville Star. Easily my favourite music competition artist ever. |

"Take Back Home Girl" is a god-awful song with zero redeeming qualities. Everybody who ranked it above the top 90 is just plain wrong.

I fail to understand the buzz that "Rumor" gets. I mean, it's a good song. But people carry on acting like it's the best song he's ever released... Personally if I were "Love Like Crazy" or "Hard To Love", I would be deeply offended! "Rumor" is fine, but the melody can be very monotonous. Also the song has no build to it whatsoever, so there's really nothing to differentiate the beginning from the middle from the end, so it can sometimes feel interminable to listen to. |

If liking this song is wrong, then I'll be wrong with my Southern Belle.  Of the pop-country collaborations we rated in 2018, this was the one I could see myself returning to. It's not great, no. But at least it's listenable and doesn't set my teeth on edge. |

"Back To Us" is a really good song, so I am disappointed to see so much hate for it... I'd be inclined to say it is Rascal Flatts' best song in about 5 years. Yet here it is getting tanked... It actually got TWO last-place rankings from rgreen0625 and austin! However, a large handful of top 50 ranks helped it to survive longer than most other songs that received multiple last-place ranks. |

I like Rascal Flatts a lot and "Back to Us" isn't bad in any way, I did enjoy it for a while but it never became a favorite. Not sure why I ranked it that low as it definitely deserved higher. Not upset to see it leave here though.
"Everything's Gonna Be Alright" deserved better, but so many of you have trash taste so I'm not the least bit surprised it is out this early. Love David Lee Murphy, he did some of my favorite '90s Country songs ("Dust On The Bottle", "Party Crowd", "The Road You Leave Behind"). I also liked Kenny here also, it is a fun laid back song and both sounded good on it as well.

You're not the first person to say this. He's literally my soulmate. We creep each other out with our similarities. However, as you'll soon see we have extremely polarizing taste in random ass songs like "Tequila" lol. He hates it, I love it. He also loves traditional country, I definitely do not. Also, one of the reasons we even became friends was our mutual distaste for Rascal Flatts back in like 2006 lol. We bonded over our hatred and now we're besties. |
