Man this is bullshit. I am pissed "Better Boat" didn't even make Top 70, in a just world it would be Top 50 bare minimum. Such a well written song, that works so well and sounds beautiful to my ears. Man I am stunned at thus result.
Between the acoustic tone, Mindy Smith's haunting backing vocals, and the theme of this song. This song is Kenny Chesney at his best and his latest album is one of my favorite albums he has released and deserves a better reputation then it gets on here. Ugh, this reveal really just ruined my night. Oh well. I'll be fine, just so bothered this didn't do all that well in the rankdown.

Wasn't really a fan of Lindsay Eli's conspicuous consumption...Criminal did better by me.
Better Boat really shouldn't have outlasted Get Along which was the better Chesney song.
Don't think I cared about Kiss Somebody; perhaps my ranking is a tad low?
I really dug Reckless Love; can't put my finger on why exactly though.
What Whiskey Does was just sort of there. A decent song, but it was missing something.
Drunk Me overstayed. He had a horrible first impression with that one song and based on his output, it hasn't improved.
LANCo has done better than Born to Love You. Greatest Love Story might have been in my top 20 last year had I done this.
And no, Old Dominion is better than LANCo. I enjoyed Break Up With Him a tad too much.

Born to Love You has a pleasant and catchy country pop vibe. What Whiskey Does and Better Boat aren't particularly amazing but they deserve to outlast Kiss Somebody and Champagne...who knows if a different person sings those songs Pulse would change his mind. :sip2: Also Day Drunk will probably have my #100+ rank if it makes to the year-end country rankdown.  |

"Straight To Hell" is a JAM! I didn't like it at first because I hated the production/vocal effects, but I got over it, and the song became so catchy to me! It's one of my favorite songs to blast while drunk lmao,
Yeah so "You Make It Easy" sucks and is not one of the 'best songs Jason has released in years' like wtf. This is a poor man's "Blue Ain't Your Color" and that song is AWFUL enough. I HATE the vocal effects on this and the melody is absolutely dreadful. You can tell FGL had a part in writing this.
