So this time I'll go easy on you guys and post the whole chart at once.
But...
before that, quick pop quiz:
1. can you guess which song is the decade-end #1 on Digital Song Sales (if every year's fairly weighed)? I'm pretty sure that no one in this forum can guess it right. It's really surprising.
2. And... there's a song (also kind of shocking) that's top 10 of the decade in Digital Song Sales, but not even in the top 90 of Hot 100's decade-end I posted. Can you guess which song? Most likely no one will guess it correctly.
Remember, sales points are weighed based on sales situation of different years. So a song may sell less than 4 million copies and wind up top 10.

Best selling digital? Probably Radioactive based on it's last update vs. RITD's.
The next part doesn't really have a definitive answer since everyone's evaluation of how SPS is weighed is different.

As I explained, this thread will be about songs' weighed pure sales (in Digital Songs Chart). Nothing to do with streaming. Much less people bought music in 2017 than 2011, for example, that's why Despacito's nearly 3 million sales is more impressive than Rolling in the Deep's 7-8+ million sales.

i love the work you put in, but it seems like you're giving more recent songs too much credit

But in early 2018, for example, average weekly #10 number deflated to around 25k copies It's very impressive for Thunder and Perfect to have that performance

i love the work you put in, but it seems like you're giving more recent songs too much credit kworb.net/pop/cumulative.htmlLook, kworb just updated the weighed cumulative sales (even though the multipliers I use are different from kworb's) since 2013, and Thunder's #4, Perfect's 3 versions combined is over Uptown Funk! Just like the chart I posted. Thunder's definitely top 10 of the decade sales-wise. Imagine Dragons' sales are so impressive

January 2019 update (I fixed some small errors from the first update and fine-tuned the multipliers to the more accurate): Note: The final weighed sales numbers are *1.3 from the first update to account for songs' recurrent sales potential (this ranking doesn't include songs' performances outside of Billboard's official Digital Song Sales chart).

Girls Like You entered top 50 of the decade with over 5.5 million weighed sales!
rockstar turned out to be not in top 50 just yet after I fixed its multiplier error God's Plan "only" the #68 of the decade
I Like It is a new entry in top 70, though

It's probably going to end up between #50 & #150 by the end of its run.

Do you like purchasing songs from iTunes too?
