"Forever" is so underrated, but I agree it is one of his best vocals. The entire "Vox Humana" album is a treasure. It is sad it was flop, I can't imagine being a young person and passing on the album in the mid 80's. His creative juices were flowing after the success of Footloose. #Justice4VoxHumana, his best album to me, his R&B influences are heard on this one.

One of my very favorite Kenny songs. As an adult now, it makes me cry, but I distinctly remember being a child and hearing this song play on the local AC from the back seat of my car thinking it was a young man singing it. Kenny was in his mid 40's when he recorded this version of the song. There's something somber yet childlike about it, not surprised it was a huge AC hit.
