Ok. Where is your 99% based on? And considering Billboard is known for errors I wouldnât immediately discredit it.

If this is true, Grammy is sending all genre interpolations to pop categories.

Ok. Where is your 99% based on? And considering Billboard is known for errors I wouldnât immediately discredit it. It is possible that Billboard has the false information but considering how this person also said that Lil Nas X was competing in Best Alt Album, that Truth Hurts was submitted for Rap Song, and has also gone completely silent after this article became part of the conversation, the chances that they were just a troll are pretty high. But who knows?

The article says the committee chose Lil Nas' placement in pop over other genres. It's possible that whoever leaked those submissions leaked where artists originally attempted to submit, not necessarily where they ended up (also, if an artist/label is uncertain where a submission belongs, they may enter it in multiple categories, as this will flag in the system and the committee will know it is being asked to make the decision). Who knows, really. I'm just bummed we're probably not going to get an 'official' leak via Gold Derby this time. It's too easy for any random person to hop on a fake Twitter account and make stuff up.

âTripâ has R&B Perf in the bag. It's weird because "Trip" isn't actually eligible. Its official release date was August 2018 (3rd to be exact), which I was pissed last year that it wasn't submitted. However, this is true, I'm happy. This song deserves more recognition over "Boo'd Up" even though I'm not upset about her win this year. I would put this in R&B Song over "Shot Clock." I guess they are relying on the Drake involvement for that track.

Totally forgot âTripâ was released July 2018. Not sure how itâs eligible then?!

I doubt Taylorâs team would submit âME!â in one of the big ones. Hoping these are fake.

Who says they are correct and who says they are fake and if they are fake is there correct ones somewhere?
I don't like people just saying things like these without receipts.

I'm lurking Gold Derby now and virtually all the regular posters there have debunked those submissions lists as fake. Came from someone who made up a new account, so everyone else was immediately suspicious. Who says they are correct and who says they are fake and if they are fake is there correct ones somewhere? I don't like people just saying things like these without receipts. We'll never get hard receipts.* Gold Derby became the de facto "reliable" place for submissions because for years, they had the same source leaking the lists and I assume that person had been vetted long enough ago that there was never reason to doubt him or her in later years. This year that source apparently isn't voting so we're back at square one. Whoever made that new GD account likely did so precisely bc their fake list would be believed more if it 'originated' from GD than from any other place. *Years and years ago people used to leak PDF scans but that hasn't been the case for some time now.

Thanks for this insight! Really hope the ASIB ones are correct though.

No the person claimed to be a voter and had the lists to vote. If he had those it means whatever is on the list was accepted in whatever category.

The strategy she concocted was bold: She submitted "Lover" for Song of the Year and submitted "You Need to Calm Down" for Record of the Year. While she wasn't the first to do thisâand certainly won't be the lastâTaylor's overarching belief that she could walk away with wins in SOTY and ROTY with two separate tracks for the biggies speaks volumes about supreme self-confidence as well as her DIY acumen. Similarly, Swift's labelmate Ariana Grande submitted "7 rings" for SOTY and "thank u, next" for ROTY.By contrast, BeyoncĂ© submitted the same trackâ"Spiritââfor both Record and Song, as did Lady Gaga with "Always Remember Us This Way," Khalid with "Talk" and Billie Eilish with "bad guy."hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=318103&title=SONG-OR-RECORD%3F-SWIFT%27S-STRATEGIC-SPLIT

Swift doing that was in no way âboldâ since artists have a history of doing this. Itâs also odd itâs said about Swift, but then pointed out Grande did the same thing but apparently isnât bold for it? It gets even more weird to contrast them to BeyoncĂ© as Beyonce didnât have two hits to choose from this time. Sheâs done it before, though, as âSingle Ladiesâ won Song and âHaloâ was in Record. HITS is terrible.

wow HDD did something. they posted all the BNA submissions.hitsdailydouble.com/critics_choice&id=318094This yearâs first-round Grammy ballot includes such contenders for BNA as Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, RosalĂa, Maggie Rogers, Lewis Capaldi, Badflower, Tyler Childers, Dominic Fike, Juice WRLD, Lil Tecca, Saweetie, Morgan Wallen and Megan Thee Stallion among the 275 names advanced for the category.Thereâs been much controversy surrounding the rules governing Best New Artist eligibility, which will undoubtedly be among the first agenda items for review. At present, weâre told, a research team tabulates a potential nomineeâs releases to determine whether an artist is in or out.hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=318101&title=BEST-NEW-ARTIST%3A-FIRST-ROUND-AND-THE-WINDS-OF-CHANGE

What Iâm getting from all of this is âoh wow Taylor âMiss underperformanceâ Swift has the audacity to submit two different songs off an era with moderate success and reception. That should only be allowed for artists with actual hits or lesser known artists weâre not familiar with & canât dragâ.

It was literally the most logical choice for her. The actual bold choice was entering 7 Rings for SOTY and TUN for ROTY. Wtf is up with Ariana's team? They made the same stupid mistake last year with NTLTC and GIAM. Just because it worked once for Beyonce in 2010 doesn't mean its the right way to go.
