H.E.R. got all of those major nominations under the new eight-nominee system. Without that system, she would probably not have the many nominations. So, I don't think it's a "stretch." I just think this system has benefited her a lot more than the old system would have.

Hoping Lil Nas doesn't get robbed today he had the biggest song that was at #1 for 19 weeks that has to count for some type of grammy if they ain't you know.

Going to miss the pre-show awards but I'm getting off work at 7 so I can be ready for the main awards! Hoping for Billie to sweep although won't be mad if Ariana gets an award or two.

Hoping Lil Nas doesn't get robbed today he had the biggest song that was at #1 for 19 weeks that has to count for some type of grammy if they ain't you know. This likely WILL be the reason he wins (and it's definitely the reason he's the betting favorite for Record of the Year), but it shouldn't be. The chart stat should impact chart-driven shows like the Billboards and AMAs. It shouldn't have any impact on the supposedly quality-driven Grammys, especially since many of the other nominees were huge hits in their own right. Like, even if you want to focus on commercial, you can't say "bad guy," "7 rings" and "Truth Hurts" didn't all make major impacts. |

Grammys hasn't been quality driven in a while imo(All The Stars shouldve gotten a grammy) ,but I agree with most of your points and the record of the year nominees are strong so whoever wins deserves it. I just don't want Lil nas to leave empty handed. |
