Have we had another all female top 3 since Roar/Royals/Wrecking Ball? I don’t even really remember any female top 2s in the past several years other than Bodak Yellow / Look What You Made Me Do. (Other than Ariana occupying the entire top 3 two weeks ago, obviously) Ariana, Halsey, and Mariah had the top 3 the first week of this year.

If Thotiana has 24,300 wouldn't it be on the top 10 instead of High Hopes?

If Thotiana has 24,300 wouldn't it be on the top 10 instead of High Hopes? Just a typo... I have both songs at 23,400 (assuming they will count 15.8M YouTube streams for Thotiana).

^But, Cyndi had her revenge.
It is one the most played 80s songs ever on radio.
Same with Footlose.
And Thriller.
That John Lennon song rarely gets played today.
Karma Chameleon is one of those quintessential 80s songs.
I hear The Eurythmics' and Hey Lewis' songs quite a bit.
Nena and Rockwell should be played more.
I listen to a lot of 80s radio shows and Sirius/XM's 80s on 8 channel.

Surprised that did not happen sooner. Big crackdown on copyright protection these days Can you copyright airplay figures? That doesn't seem logical, but oh well. Anyway I'm very glad to see Gaga will probably go #1, and I don't want to be pessimistic about it, but It appears it won't stay near the top for too long. I just hope the second week drop isn't too steep, like if it drops out of the top 10 or something, that would be one of the steepest drops from #1 ever, and not since the early 70s when the charts were kind of screwed up. If it stays in the top ten for at least one more week I'll be happy.

Surely some of those American Idol songs had similar drops? How about "This Is America"

If it stays in the top ten for at least one more week I'll be happy. It is the product that this company produces, of course they can copyright it. Just like sales data can have a copyright, so can airplay data. Side note: It has been a while but I personally have received notices about posting illegal sales data which responsible for this thread pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/116782/soundscan-data?page=1I don't see 'Shallow' dropping back to #20 next week (3/16) probably have nothing to worry about. Streaming and sales will certainly drop but it should likely not be all at once.

^I guess they either have direct access to the Mediabase access or there's an ATRL US Airplay Discussion thread where people have been posting updates. I see that simm requested them there in order to be able to do his Hot 100 yesterday.

According to ChartData, Shallow is #1 on Digital Song Sales with 113,000 copies. Isn't this fewer than predictors expected?

If only Mona Lisa hit #1... It's like rappers and their labels don't care about #1s... Mona Lisa only needed a lyric video with 2.5M streams. ZEZE needed a video with 1M streams. Killshot would've been #1 if it was released on Spotify/AM/iTunes the same day that its official audio was uploaded to YouTube.

Is anyone really losing sleep over "Mona Lisa" or "Killshot" not being #1 hits? People complain about "Without Me" not feeling like an event (or something like that), but those two certainly weren't either.
"Shallow" going back up on airplay will soften it's fall next week a bit.

As far as I'm concerned, those two songs did feel like events, at least to some extent. I remember a lot of people raving about how good "Mona Lisa" is on Twitter back when Tha Carter V came out, and "Killshot" came from one of the biggest hip-hop beefs in recent memory.
