 But what percentage cut does Spotify believe is fair given that Apple hosts the software, facilitates the downloads and installs, provides promotion, and basically the entire ecosystem Spotify relies on to operate as a business? |

It's funny you would use that gif to criticize Spotify here when Elizabeth Warren actually wants to put an end to things like the Apple Tax.
And so what if Apple is doing all of that? Do Microsoft and Google charge that much to host the app on their stores? The problem here also is the conflict of interest since Apple has a direct competitor to Spotify.

Blah. Basic power play between two scamming companies at the end of the day. One may pay artists less money, while the other wants to monopolize which is no bueno. Hard to find the "better" company to root for.
