Billie Eilish First-Day Streams on Spotify U.S. (03/29/2019): 5. bury a friend - 1,718,907 Quite low numbers for 'bury a friend'. I thought it could re-peak with the album release, but seems like 'bad guy' will be the highest charting track, which im fine with. 'bury a friend' deserved better That is actually on par with the numbers it drew in on its first week. Video views will be lower this time around, but at least now it has some decent airplay. It probably won't repeak, but it's looking likely for a top 20 reentry. |

I’m not a Eilish fan. I’d be ok with her at number one but I don’t like these songs that debut at number one and then nose dive. We already had that in Sucker recently and it doesn’t feel like a number 1 hit because of it. If Bad Guy debuted number one, I’d want it to stay there a few weeks.

Sucker is getting played alot on Pop radio with it in the top 10 and a potential #1. Eilish has a sound that might struggle at radio in the long run. |

Heard Old Town Road for the first time last night on Pop radio, and I gotta say hearing Lil Nas X in between Ariana and Halsey is hilarious.
It actually doesn't sound too out of place next to Post Malone, but put it next to Sweet but Psycho then it's very bizarre.

Idk where you live but Sucker feels like a #1 for sure. Everyone talked about it, and now it's picking up airplay. Bad Guy is definitely not as big, but I am all for a new #1 even if it'll be out in 10 weeks. Represents what people are listening to more than when GLY was riding the airplay train at the top. |

Besides, the alternate option at this point looks like 7 Rings leading for even longer. Wow.'s bid is basically over after it threw everything at the wall on the 4/6 chart (to seeming failure which will be confirmed tomorrow), Please Me appears to have peaked, and the only other top 5s at the moment are #1 alumni, and old ones at that: Sunflower and Without Me. If it takes slightly more ephemeral #1 debuts to shake things up, I'll gladly take them.

It's too early to say with Sucker imo. It could go on to spend months in the top 10 in theory. I remember What's My Name by Rihanna dropped 1-7 and then gradually climbed all the way back to #2 a couple of months later. |
