It’s weird seeing a metal band on the hot 100 in 2019. Along with a mostly forgotten bro-country artist, Queen's guitarist, with a cover of the original artist's only mainstream hit, featuring said artist. LOL 2019 is proving to be a box full of surprises.

Quantity of green updates matters far less than overall proportions going on. As it so happens, that first day of red was a sign of a pretty big sea change as the new arrivals cut its pace down to about 5/6 of what it was doing, and from there it wavered relatively steadily throughout the week. kworb predicted 102k for this week, an overall drop, and professes that his numbers have a 10% margin of error, which 91k falls safely into. Your obvious stannage of sales is blinding you to the facts. (Also, please just use Font Size 2, using a bigger size for your whole post just makes you seem like you're trying to metaphorically outyell the competition) Lol, did you read all the numbers and updates from kworb? This week it had 8 more green updates than red... On the first day of the tracking week it had 8 red and 7 green. Pretty much even. I don't know how did 1 tiny red update more could cut it 5/6.Green and red updates aren't necessarily even, though. As in, one red update could mean it fell 20% in sales, while a green update could have meant a 10% increase. Even though that's 1 and 1, it would still be an overall loss. Also, how would rigging even matter in this case? "OTR" is still #1 in downloads and on the Hot 100 by a large margin. There is no point in 'rigging' anything.

Oh, yeah, "Falling Down". Forgot that existed. Though "I've Been Waiting" could outpeak it (I hope not and doubt it).

It feels fishy and aggravating that OT Road's sales are consistently way below me and kworb's predictions. It seems that soundscan and Billboard had no problem posting Sh*tlow's big sales. we heard you the first 3 times no need to make your font match the size of your ego

Isn't the Con Calma remix new this week? Even if it was released late last week, there's no way it contributed over 50% of points. Maybe because of radio.

Billboard rigging the number? Ha ha, okay.
Billboard collects data from third-parties and uses a formula that, while private, seem predictable enough that many on here can pretty much guess the Top 10. If there's a surprise, it's from the third-party is supplying industry information. I can guarantee you that Billboard isn't doing anything with the numbers they get to achieve a desired outcome. If it happened, it would be the downfall of the magazine and its status in the industry. Please take your conspiracy theories somewhere else.
If you're upset because the narrative given by Billboard doesn't mention what you want it to, it isn't because they would prefer a song to be at the top. Rather they are giving interesting information on the data they have. So much so, that most of the Billboard articles are almost a copy/paste of previous weeks filled in with new data. I guarantee the authors aren't starting from zero when writing an article.

A new collaboration by DJ Snake, Offset, 21 Sabage, Sheck Wes & Gucci Mane is coming soon. Do you think it will be a hit or miss?

Just a thought

Just a thought Plus, kworb doesn't have access to all downloads sites right? As in, iTunes has popularity bars, but in theory it could have declined more at other sources. As you said, kworb is an estimate.

Just a thought iTunes also isn't the only digital sales outlet. Granted the others - like GP and Amazon are small, but they are included. At this point, I suppose it's kind of like analyzing/questioning physical sales in pre-iTunes days. If there's any metric that can be weighed/manipulated at Billboard's 'discretion'- it's streaming: programmed, YT, subscription, etc., there's a lot of haze there.

"Love Ain't" by Eli Young Band debuts at #81. It is their first single to make the Hot 100 since 2014's "Dust", and is now on its 45th week on Country Airplay.

The only dropout worth mentioning seems to be "Put a Date On It" by Yo Gotti featuring Lil Baby. And maybe "Close Friends" by Lil Baby, but that song might still be around since that song just won't die.
