Officially Top 15 on Mediabase at #15 gaining 283 spins and also this song has the highest bullet of the songs in the #11 to #15 range. Someone correct me but I do not think this song has spent a single day in a double digit bullet on Mediabase since hitting the Top 30. Given where this song is at on the chart I imagine Top 10 is doable, especially with Keith Urban and FGL struggling, and the large age of LoCash's song (then again Scotty McCreery and Travis Denning are even more ancient). I do think Luke Bryan and probably Chris Janson are to pass the duo soon, but after that I don't see anyone passing the duo for a long while and at worse they are 7th in line for Top 10. One Big Country Song would actually be at 58 weeks on the chart this upcoming week if Billboard hadn’t move the song to recurrent status for 4 weeks earlier this year. I think Die From A Broken Heart will eventually make the top 10 as well. It’s total number of weeks in the top 30 is still relatively low. It may take a good 8 weeks plus to get there. The song’s chart run kinda remains me of Parmalee’s “Carolina” chart run a couple years ago as it struggled in the bottom half of the chart for ever (even went recurrent on Billboard temporarily), but once Carolina Finally made the top 30, it started posting good gains weekly and eventually went to #1.

Callout scores are in and it is pretty solid as it is ranked quite squarely right in the middle at 8 out of 16 songs mainly due to having the second highest favorite score, they also do have the second highest negative score but the good news is that the fave score is higher than negative which is a good sign. Honestly the callout scores reminds me a bit of Jana Kramer and "I Got The Boy" in the sense of high passion but also some high negatives and not much in between.
So far this week on Mediabase "Die From A Broken Heart" has gained 46 spins and 679k in audience the past 5 days and should finish this week at #16 on the chart due to Chris Janson and Luke Bryan continue to really surging.

Callout scores are better this as it is tied for 4th in Pop Score has one of the higher Potential and Positive score, the negative score dropped by 1.6, the Net Positive Score went up 5.1, and the heavy burn went down by 1.4. Definitely excited to see the callout scores get better and the sales also improving (#100 all genre), so hopeful this can hit the Top 10. I also did a comparison on Billboard for this song and "In Between" (a song that is looking to spend 63-65 weeks on the chart) at the 43rd week mark "In Between" Chart Position #23 Audience 8.428 Spins 2429 "Die From A Broken Heart" Chart Position #18 Audience 12.415 Spins: 3843 Definitely think if the label is in it for a 50+ week chart run they may be able to get a #1 out of this song.

Looks like a pop version is coming:
Honestly it sounds really good and I wouldn’t hate it if they sent it to HOT AC/Pop. This song deserves so much more than it’s gotten so far.

Given the age of the song, I'm here for this.

Another week of callout scores and he callout for this keeps getting better as Maddie & Tae are tied for the highest Pop Score of all the songs being promoted to radio as the Pop Score goes up from 83 to 86. The negative score went down another 0.8, Favorite score went up another 1.3, Net Positive went up 3.8, and the Positive score went up 3.0. Just about as good as you can get for callout scores.
Also this song is back to taking off after a bit of a fluke week last week as since Sunday, "Die From A Broken Heart" has gained 1347k in audience and gained 180 spins. Definitely enjoying that the callout scores keep on getting better for this song and I am so hopeful this will hit the top of the chart. Lastly the streams for this song are ridiculously strong evident by the fact that the music video has almost 22 million views on YouTube.

My biggest problem with the remix is that it seems out of key to me. I could be wrong, it just sounds off. Wish they would just send the original to hot'ac though.

Don't really care generic remixes by generic DJs tbh. Zero imagination and they are too lazy to sync vocals with stock beats/drops.

The testing for this song is fantastic — it has to be the best testing song of their career (#3 on Mediabase callout).
The only song with a favorite score is “Hard to Forget.”

Based off testing, there’s no reason this song shouldn’t make the top 10 or even top 5. I’m somewhat optimistic it can get to #1 but it hasn’t been having massive updates like “After a Few” did once it got to the top 20-15.

Callout is so frequently flawed against female artists so it is refreshing to see Maddie & Tae somehow bucking the trend here. Taste is truly winning!

I'm thrilled the testing is fantastic. I was worried it'd work against them since they were females. I think with the testing, Top 5 should be attainable, and I will cross my fingers for the #1!
Who would've thought that after such a slow and dreadful start/climb, that they'd be currently Top 15 with fantastic testing and a viable chance of going #1 or Top 5?!

New peak of #60 on the Hot 100. Out-peaking "Fly" (which reached #61). They only have a few spots higher to climb for this to officially be their biggest hit on the chart, since "Girl in a Country Song" peaked at #54. I'm so happy this has blown up into the hit it always deserved to be from the start.

And I thought Urban AC climbs were torturous. Glad this one's still chugging along all the same. Can't wait for Bathroom Floor to smash as the follow-up sometime in the next two years.

Another week of callout scores and another week where "Die From A Broken Heart" gets even better callout scores as Potential is up 3 points, Positive is up 3.6, Fav is up 1.5, Negative is down another .9, and Net Positive is up over 4 points as well. So as of now on the Mediabase Callout Maddie & Tae are tied for the highest Potential, 2nd in Positive, and Highest in Favorite.
This week has also been kind to this song as "Die From A Broken Heart" has gained another 234 spins since Sunday and has a really healthy bullet on Mediabase of 311. This week I would expect Maddie & Tae to finish at #13 or #14 on Mediabase (they are bound to pass Carrie Underwood any day now and Luke/Eric will go recurrent, but Thomas Rhett & Co could easily get right back ahead), and #16 on Billboard.

Yeah, this'll be a good litmus test of country radio's reliance on callout research because they're QUICK to cut off a woman when she tests poorly but when men test this well they sail to the top of the charts (even when sales/streams/general interest are non-existant), so we'll know if they're on that BS with Maddie & Tae by how far they let this one go.

This one will definitely get to the top 10 and should contend for #1. Women always have a harder time than men at country radio but I’m still optimistic this can climb that far. This is their best-testing song and selling quite well — certainly deserves it.

I wonder if the testing is kicking in, because Maddie & Tae are having a WEEK so far. Bullet over 500, and looks like a lock for the top 10 on Mediabase come Sunday.
