From an incredibly prolific songwriter. When starting the follow-up album to Bat Out of Hell, Meat Loaf developed vocal problems and was unable to continue. Jim Steinman proceeded with the album, released as Bad for Good in 1981. This single hit #32 on the Top 100. Meat Loaf ultimately recorded and released the song 13 years later. The single went to #31 on the charts
Meat Loaf's version.
Steinman's version rocks IMO. Love almost all his compositions.

RIP Jim Steinman, loved every last chord of this song. God, this guy could eke every last ounce of energy out of a song
