She’s confirmed Enough is the only song of its kind on the album so I’m expecting the rest of the record to be a clusterfuck.

I can’t wait for this album. “Enough” was boring but “Holy Ghost” is hot. I’m glad she’s not only making boring UAC music.

I kind of figure "Enough" would be its only kind on the album.

"Holy Ghost" sounds like it should be a Mary Mary song.

I actually like this, based on clips, more than most of her albums. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

She is a prime example of why some people really need an A&R and direction from a label. I love her first 3 or 4 albums, but this one is on par with the last one and that is not a good thing
The up tempo's or the "bops" as she calls them sound super cheap. The ballads are definitely nice ad showcase her voice. I actually LOVE Fighting. Believer is nice and so Enough, The Way and Take off. Bad Girl is..okay, but the arrangement sounds like she needs to be singing about a different topic. I think the real highlight for me is Looking for You. I wish it didn't have her mom on it so she could release it as a single because it's gorgeous and the best song on the album IMO.

"Looking for You" is my favorite song on the album, too. I have loved it since she debuted it on BET's "Sunday Best" a few months ago.
I actually really like the album. It has a 1980s vibe. It is better than her last studio album and "Back to Me", which was her third album. Her voice sounds really pretty on the songs.

Believer Enough The Way! Bad Girl Warning Looking for You
It’s funny she called The Definition of... trash when this album feels like the slightly improved other side of that same coin. I know she wants to be the artist that plays with genre but she needs to realize R&B/Soul is her bread and butter. With the right producer, she can pull off a more contemporary R&B sound (i.e. Without Me) but, more often than not, her attempts at being “hip” fall flat and her ballads turn bland. I want to root for her and was optimistic with Enough but now I fear she’s one of those R&B artists whose quality won’t be sustained in an independent environment.

#17 on iTunes for whatever that’s worth. I actually like this, based on clips, more than most of her albums. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Target’s supposed to be carrying the CD.

Weren't you policing everybody's thoughts and barking at them via the pretense that they were talking negatively about the album before they heard it. And now they have, you're just going to do it all over again in a different way? She is a prime example of why some people really need an A&R and direction from a label. I love her first 3 or 4 albums, but this one is on par with the last one and that is not a good thing The up tempo's or the "bops" as she calls them sound super cheap. I wish it didn't have her mom on it so she could release it as a single because it's gorgeous and the best song on the album IMO. Agreed. This feels sonically, quality-wise, being all over the place as a natural successor to the album she just trashed. Some one get her back in the studio with Harmony Samuels because these garageband mixtapes aren't cutting it.

This sits right alongside the last one as her worst album. "Enough" is still my favorite by her, but there are only a few other keepers on this ("Believer," "Bad Girl," and "Looking For You"). Hoping the tour isn't too heavy on the new material. Still looking forward to seeing her live.

I find this much more interesting sonically than a lot of other new R&B/Soul albums, which often rely on the same trap beats over and over again. This isn‘t her best effort though. And still waiting for that Rock&Soul album she must have in her.

Enough Warning The Way! Take Off
I'm not a fan of this album either. The four songs above are what I'll keep. "Free" and "Fighting" have good melodies but the lyrics are way too chessy for my taste.
Her trashing The Definition of... over this will remain a mystery for me. I bop to "Crazy", "When I Met You" and "Lonely Legends" to this day.

And still waiting for that Rock&Soul album she must have in her. This is true too. At the very least, you can tell she's treading her own path that's neither completely classic soul nor modern-day PBR&B.

I must be out of touch because I like it! A few songs sound a tad bit dated but I like it. She sound absolutely divine. Fighting reminds me of a Celine Dion song (with a trap beat under it).

I actually love the album and think it’s her second third best after Side Effect and Self-Titled. Now single wise, it lacks there. It does feel like an elevation of her last one.

I think that "Sketchbook" is better than "The Defintion of..." AND "Back to Me". "Back to Me" was boring.
My Top 6
1. "Looking for You" - It is simply lovely. This works well as a Christian song and as a romantic song; I can see this playing at weddings. 2. "Bad Girl" - the most old school Fantasia song on this album; it would fit in well with her earlier albums; it also is the most commercial song on the album 3. "Enough" - 1980s sound / vibe that is a nice, sweet song. 4. "Take Off" - The beat is infectious. It is such a happy tune that is carefree. 5. "The Way" - It is way too short, but it is pretty. The tune sounds like a 1980s song and has that throwback vibe. 6. "PTSD" - The music / beat is interesting to me. The lyrics are not good, BUT I like the flow and the laidback vibe.
My LEAST favorite song is "BELIEVER". It is aimless.

This album is on par with the last one imo. "Believer" and "Enough" are the two best songs and the rest of the tracks range from bad to mediocre to good bops.
Definition of... had the amazing "So Blue," but I also liked "Crazy."

"Holy Ghost" sounds really good within the context of the album especially coming after "Free." I think "Warning" has that rockier sound (can't remember which one exactly), but I hope she moves more into that direction.
