So fans that redeemed the bundle digitally before the end of Thursday had it count for that week, and the ones that didn't bother using the redeem code will have it count towards the week when the physical gets shipped? (and as you said, the sale won't be double counted) There is no redeem for merchandise bundle. So every bundle sales were counted this week. Doesn't Billboard have a rule about counting physicals based off the week they ship though? Her physicals ship in 6 weeks and 12 weeks. I think 6 weeks is when the Pets movie comes out so ME! could get a chart boost then.

My guess is just time. Pop actually was the dominant genre on Spotify at first, but then urban fans switched to streaming in literal droves whereas other genres are moving at a slower pace. Perhaps urban fans are just more in tune with technology or always looking for the cheapest/efficient way to consume music while fans of other genres adapt more slowly to changing technology and are more content with other ways to consume music and need more motivation to switch? I know urban music was commonly pirated more often than other genres and streaming came along and nearly put an end to that. It's always interesting to hypothesize what started these trends and I've always kind of believed those that pirated music more often made the switch to streaming first. But that's just one theory and perhaps only just one slice of the pie. I think urban music's popularity has been over-stated. A lot of urban music's streams are very front-loaded, and also strongly US based. Also most of the top streamed songs on Spotify from the 00s are rock songs, not urban or even pop. I'd say the top performing songs on Spotify (worldwide) released in the past 365 days would be something like 1. Sunflower 2. 7 rings 3. thank u, next 4. Happier 5. In My Feelings 6. Bad Guy 7. Lucid Dreams 8. Girls Like You 9. Shallow 10. Without Me 11. Wow. 12. Sweet But Psycho 13. Eastside 14. High Hopes 15. Sicko Mode OTR would probably be top 5 but it's a bit hard to tell where it would fall exactly on that ranking. Your list is interesting and wouldn't think "Lucid Dreams" would be so high on a WW list. Was it that big overseas? Are these only US songs? Weren't there any huge WW hits that weren't big here?

Impressively, there's four country songs in the Top 40.
28. Beautiful Crazy 33. Whiskey Glasses 34. God's Country 38. Eyes On You

Interesting that none of the songs in positions 12-26 on Hot 100 increased in points. That field is so dead right now. Even Girls Like You manages to climb.

Lucid Dreams is closing in on 800 million streams and is tracking similar to Girls Like You which was released shortly after. A higher proportion of its streams are from the US than for the pop songs, but it's so big in the US (and decently big outside) that it's still pretty huge WW. I forgot Taki Taki, it would be around #5 between Happier and In My Feelings. I only included songs that were big on the Hot 100, but Con Calma would probably make it on the list, since although the peak streams are lower than a lot of these songs, it's been holding quite steady, but it's hard to say for sure since it hasn't been out for too long.

This is the biggest Hot 100 thread I’ve seen lol Taylor - her power! Plus the ongoing OTR controversy. One thing regarding it that kind of has gone under the radar was the Diplo remix.
