Same for me. Is it possible for a phone to get a virus? It does it on Wikipedia and Billboard too, but that’s not relevant to this post.

Apparently these (now?) get auto-reported and eventually removed when they redirect, so hopefully they go away soon – nothing else we can do about it ourselves, unfortunately.

Likely, you have malware installed on the phone, which leads to the pop ups. I assume they're redirecting your phone browser to them?

I don't see them. I use Ad Block Pro with Chrome though, so I'm sure that's the reason.

Sometimes when I visit this site on my phone, I keep getting re-directed to this Youtube survey site and I am not able to use the back browser go back. So annoying!

I believe it's just Proboards being dickheads, it happened to me when I got a new phone so I don't think it's a malware issue, especially if the pop ups only appear on pulse.

Because ProBoards is one of the millions of sites that just opens its advertisement space to whoever wants to fill it automatically through Google, often times ads can get through that contain links that redirect you to a scummy, spammy, virus ridding website with perhaps a scam on it. It really truly sucks that these sometimes get through, but like Kurt said above, they should now be auto reported for removal and there isn't much else we can do to stop them.
At least, to stop ProBoards from hosting the ads. There are things you can do to block ads. Desktop/laptop users can download extensions to their browsers (well, probably not Internet Explorer if you use that) that block adds. I don't know about iOS users, but Android users have a decent supply of apps that will blocks ads on your mobile devices too. Blockada is the one I recently just started using and it's glorious. Completely put a stop to these redirects.
