Motomami is positively bonkers and I love it! It's so fresh and innovative and she even got me to like reggaeton! Definitely one of the best albums of the year so far.

Awesome interview. Zane Lowe is such a great interviewer. And Rosalía so honest, spontaneous, humble, a great artist. A breath of fresh air. I enjoyed so much the whole interview.

What a star. I remember seeing her years ago at a showcase and i got the same feeling that i felt when i saw Beyonce perform live in the late 90s. You just know when someone is going to become a legend.

Now I know why I love this album so much. It reminds me of M.I.A., one of my all-time favorite artists - messy and beautiful and brilliant all at once. Plus, it really makes you move. Yep, I thought about the same.  And even in one song I thought "Bjork may like that". I also wondered if she's worked yet with Arca. That would be a super cool combination. I believe are both located perhaps in Barcelona? There's for sure experimentation and mix of genres. Her three albums are so different from one another. I just started to listen to her first for the first time. Of course I adore El Mal Querer. But in this album she goes from one sound to the other and back and to my ears it all flows wonderfully. And she's no doubt having fun. |
