Jimmy Lee is a deeply personal, musically ambitious work inspired by his brother’s struggles with addiction that explores the razor’s edge people walk as they pursue pleasure that leads to pain — an incisive and empathetic work from a master at the peak of his art. This album is self-produced and will be released on Columbia Records. Jimmy Lee Track Listing 1. Sinners Prayer 2. So Ready 3. This World Is Drunk 4. Something Keeps Calling 5. Kings Fall 6. Solid album with a strong message. I prefer it to his last two.

The album has a 95 on Metacritic (universal acclaim). Should pull in some Grammy nods.
I need to give this a more attentive listen. When I first listened, nothing really caught my attention outside of the single.. but I think this is just a lot less commercial than the previous two albums.

I like "Something Keeps Calling". Need to find a time to sit down and delve into this album.

I listened the whole album twice and I was somewhat disappointed and then I listened one more time and it clicked. The World is Drunk, My Walk, I’m Feeling Love and the single are my favorites.
The abrupt ending of the songs is a little annoying especially when some songs could have been a little longer.

It’s obvious this is an album he’s always wanted to make. I appreciate albums like this and also the fact that he didn’t have us waiting for throwaway tracks.

Definitely stronger than Stone Rollin' but also something you can tell was designed to be listened to as a whole.

New Tony Toni Tone music! I hope is good. Their 90s albums are classics. Thanks for posting.

Someone explains to me why “Ask of You” can’t be found on Spotify. Even when I tried to purchase it, it is an album only too ugh
