leonagwen what do you have to say about this update? What's your interpretation? Like another poster said, it's just treading water, waiting for the call out scores. In my opinion though it looks like it's just about done.

Can Taylor have a number 1 pop single.. I'm sure she can if the public likes it enough. This isn't blazing the world on fire so this isn't it. Taylor was very popular at one time but her sound is just not happening right now. I'm not sure if it's because we heard this from her before or the lyrics are just corny for some. I like and own this but it's peaking where it deserves to peak.

Sorry I was just frustrated about this era LOL We all kind of are... it's safe to say this is her blandest start to an era, creatively, to date.

Agreed. I just don’t get how someone that has written some of the most introspective and hauntingly beautiful songs yet choose the most generic pop singles :(

“The Archer” has resurrected Taylor period
“Blank Space” is Top 200 on Spotify again, so is “Delicate”

Cruel Summer (ft. Drake) will resurrect her on the pop format. Bookmark me! Or maybe not.

Performance-wise she is doing fine right now, but yeah, creatively, the first single was awful and this isn't as strong as it should have been. "The Archer" is my favorite of the three, by far, and its not even being heard by the masses.
I still can't fathom what the hell they were thinking with "Me!". Not only was it a cheesy, bland, Disney-esq, uninspired song, but it totally obliterated any progress the natural maturation of sound and image Taylor built with Reputation. Reputation felt genuine and authentic in its development and this era started off with a song that was such a blatant attempt for immediate success (that completely backfired and made her overall image look disingenuous af). I can't. The idea of them blasting it in the studio thinking they had a monster on their hands makes me chuckle.

-83.1% of people surveyed are familiar with this song --53.7% of those people felt positively about this song --24.3% of those people say this is one of their favorite songs right now --31.4% of those people felt negatively about this song --14.9% of those people are tired of hearing this song -22.4% Net Positive score
Percent Ranks Positive: #19/20 (ahead of only NRO lol) Favorite: #12/20 Negative: #2/20 Burn Rate: #4/20 Net Positive: #20/20 Familiarity: #15/20

I'm done with this era's singles. Why does she always release the worst songs as singles?

It has a relatively high favourite at least, but also a really high negative lol.
This song, while not noteworthy, is pretty inoffensive – I think a lot of people rate her songs negatively just because it's her at this point.

Well, that's a wrap. Lol Hopefully she learns her lesson before she ruins her radio appeal. She is pushing it close at this point. lol I also certainly think the burn factor of Taylor the artist is in full affect still as well, so if it isn't an undeniable smash, people aren't gonna bite with her. Her only positively received song in reference to callouts the last two eras was "Delicate". lol

I expected the call outs to be bad, but what I wasn’t expecting was the burn out rate. It literally just came out! That alone has me convinced people are just tired of Taylor as a whole.
I hope this also shows Taylor and her team that they need to pick better singles. Needless to say, their choices thus far are abysmal. If they don’t have “Delicate” or a “Blank Space” ready, I can see the rest of the era severely underperforming and ending short.
