So it's safe to say that Omertร is definitely not going to debut in top ten. Probably not even top 20.

Yes because every one of her songs to chart only lasted 1-3 weeks on and had zero impact on anyone in any capacity anywhere. ๐บ <- for you. Use it. Their cover of Donโt Stop Believin was #22 in the year-end chart in the UK, compared to Super Bass which was #29 (with much more airplay). I am simply stating the facts. Lol

And just like that, Taylor rose again to #1 on iTunes, thanks to the amazing music video (This Katy-Taylor scene... ICONIC. My heart melted). YNTCD's heading for a #2 debut now.

Nicki is queen...js
On another note, I think Taylor is gonna have another Top 10 debut this week. The music video is really helping out YNTCD.

Two top ten hits before album release is great for Taylor at this stage. With Ariana giving up on her album after three singles, it's been a while since a pop lady has had a string of multiple top 10 hits a la 1989.
One more and she would surpass reputation, which only had two (still sad about "Delicate" topping out at #12, but at least it had killer legs).

Clearly the issue at hand here is that Nicki claims sheโs the Queen of whatever, yet canโt even top the Hot 100. Okay? Nobody would care if she didn't care about her resume either.

I like a lot of Nicki's discography, but she's too concerned with her Queen status and that just gives the haters more ammo. And it was mildly amusing to see Cardi get 3 #1 hits in a year while Nicki can't get one, in spite of massive hits.
She has sadly not been able to translate her formerly massive sales on iTunes to streams (which is weird because the Spotify audience usually embraces her genre much more than others).
Missy doesn't have a #1 hit either and yet nobody is dragging her for that.
Still, it's pretty dumb to argue that she hasn't had any impact. "Super Bass", "Starships", "Monster", "Anaconda", "Side to Side", "Turn Me On", even dumb "FEFE" are all memorable or had a lot of chart success. And let's be honest, she's just a feature away from #1. If Ariana gets her on her next lead...

Ya, kind of surprising to me, I mean "The Pinkprint" was pretty huge on streaming if I remember correctly. 682,000 copies sold, but 2x platinum and #7 on the year end Billboard 200 chart for 2015. But her obsession with Cardi B kind of painted her in a bad light imo. Cardi B came with receipts and exposed Nicki in a series of instagram videos that made my jaw drop. The question is whether Cardi B will have longevity, or will she fade fast.

Also crazy nobody since Selena Gomez had 3 #1s on pop radio from 1 album Again, because Ariana gave up on her albums too soon. "breathin" peaked at #2 but it was facing strong competition from "thank u, next". "break up with your girlfriend" topped out at #3, but save for release week, promo for it was pretty small. Plus there was always the chance that something else from the album could have gone #1. This is just a testament to how shorter "album eras" are getting. Drake's last album pretty much died down singles wise after "In My Feelings" too. Post Malone moved to standalone singles after "Better Now". Cardi managed to go 4 singles from her last album but that was probably because her pregnancy took her out of the recording booth for a while. If anyone is going 5/6 singles deep again it's probably Taylor Swift.

Money in the Grave looks like another top 10 for Drake.

So it's safe to say that Omertร is definitely not going to debut in top ten. Probably not even top 20. Yeah, and that's okay. It'll definitely debut in the top 40. It's holding strong on Apple Music and it's streams on Spotify US are still good, considering the kind of songs it is.

If Money in the Grave debuts in the top 10 next week (which is highly likely), Drake would have scored 2 top 10 hits already this year and if Omertร debubts in the top 40, he'd have scored 4 top 40 records this year. It's so easy for him to score these hits.

Congratulations (June 17, 2017): #7 streaming - 30.0M (this week, No Guidance at #4 has 28.0M streams) #12 sales - 37k (this week, OTR is the only song selling more than 37k) #10 Hot 100 with 25,800 points. This week, it would've been #6. It's crazy how strong the Hot 100 was in June 2017 and how weak it's right now.

One more and she would surpass reputation, which only had two (still sad about "Delicate" topping out at #12, but at least it had killer legs). This isn't surprising because she released 2 albums in six months, with 3 big hits from each (with all but Breathin' reaching the top ten, but that had good longevity so it was pretty much an equivalent top 10). So six top ten or near top ten hits in a little under a year, that sounds like a very good run to me, and there was even criticism (including from myself) that she was releasing too many singles too quickly, so it's smart to stop now because there's the risk of public fatigue. Would you want her to release 3 more singles right now from Thank U, Next?

aka the best song of Post Malone has made its rightful debut in the Top 10 Despite the #8 peak, it's run is really impressive, even ending up at #10 in the YE.

Lil Nas down to #4 on Spotify. It's no surprise since Drake is #1 and Taylor #3 with their new singles. If it wasn't for them, OTR would still be #2, having about 30k streams less than Bad Guy.

Hope Taylor debuts high on next week's chart.. So Far 19M Views with about 1 hour left until it hits 24 Hours Release. The Spotify Streams are going to save the song although.
