Well, the poll was a very close race!!! So close, in fact, that we finished in a tie!!!! It Matters To Me and Fireflies both scored 8 votes apiece, while Breathe was right there breathing down their throats with 6 votes. Even her debut album scored a couple of votes.
Her most recent duets album with her husband, The Rest Of Our Life, on the other hand, did not score a single vote Poor little guy! Which tells me, we need to hurry up and get it over with ;)
Disclaimer: I know this is a Faith Hill album series, but you should rank these songs based on overall quality as a whole regardless of who sings most prominently. Do not just rank them lower because they feature Tim prominently or something silly like that... Theoretically if a Tim McGraw album series ends up happening after this, we should not have to redo this album rankdown from his perspective...
My top 10 Favorites 1. King George 2. Alan Jackson 3. Merle Haggard 4. Keith Whitley 5. Randy Travis 6. Eric Church 7. Carly Pearce 8. Dillion Carmichael 9. Ashley McBryde 10. Luke Combs

My least favorite Tim McGraw album lol (I know his discography a lot better than I know Faith's), but will definitely give this another chance for the rankdown!
Boy, how time flies! We are already down to one week left!!! We've had a 5th submission from .indulgecountry since I last updated, but the rest of y'all still need to jump on it :)
In general terms, I prefer Tim's music to Faith's, but this album was not good for me, so I might as well skip it. Still, please tag me for the next album in the series ♥
This is supposed to be due today, but looking at my rankdown schedule right now, I am going to go ahead and offer you all another week. That will allow me to finish revealing George's Honkytonkville album, and get a good start revealing Martina's album tracks before I start with this one :)
So for anyone else who would like to join, your new deadline is Saturday, September 28th!!
Nobody has asked for an extension or even acted slightly interested in joining, so I am going to go ahead and close this one! No reason to drag this out; let's get it overwith We very obviously need to get to an album that people are more passionate about!
That offer goes for anyone else! If anyone comes in here and realizes "Oh shit, I forgot to submit a list", I will still take it as long as it is in before I want to start reveals in the next 12-18 hours So it's not a formal extension, because I still want to start results today, but a small grace period!

I didn't find a bad song on this album. All of them were pleasant and apart from my bottom 2 (which weren't that bad to begin with), I had trouble ranking the rest. Nice collection of songs but maybe a bit same-y for an album.

1) What will be #1? Gonna guess "Break First"
2) What will be #11? "Roll the Dice"
3) Which songs will be in the top 5? "Break First" and "Telluride" seemed to be two of the fan favorites from the album. I'll guess that the two singles (despite neither being all that popular) end up there as well.
4) What song will be most polarizing? Least polarizing? Most: "Speak to a Girl" | Least: "Roll the Dice"
5) Which of the singles will place highest? Where will it place? (Speak To A Girl, The Rest Of Our Life) Neither is that popular, but I vastly prefer "Speak" and hope it is higher. I say both of them land in the top 5, but I could see them both topping out at like 4-5. "Speak" highlights Faith better and this is her rankdown, so I'll give it the edge. *fingers crossed*
6) Which of the singles will place lowest? Where will it place?
7) What will be the highest-placing album track? Where will it place? "Break First" at #1 is my guess.
8) Any predictions for which 5 album tracks will place highest, making it into the album tracks rankdown??? "Break First" and "Telluride" seem like locks. Would love to see "Love Me to Lie," "Damn Good at Holding On," and "The Bed We Made" be the others.
9) Any other thoughts/predictions? This album is severely underrated. I honestly think it's pretty damn good. Its unfortunate that the total dud of a title track had to be one of the two singles to carry this project.
1) What will be #1? Every time I think that an album track might sneak out a win one of the singles ends up pulling ahead so I'm going to play it safe and say that "Speak to a Girl" comes in at #1 with "Break First" coming in a close second
2) What will be #11? "Roll the Dice"
3) Which songs will be in the top 5? "Speak to a Girl", "Break First", and "Cowboy Lullaby" in the top 3 with "Telluride" and either "Love Me to Lie" or "The Bed We Made" rounding out the top 5
4) What song will be most polarizing? "The Rest of Our Life" Least polarizing? "Break First"
5) Which of the singles will place highest? Where will it place? "Speak to a Girl" in the top two
6) Which of the singles will place lowest? Where will it place? "The Rest of Our Life" at #7
7) What will be the highest-placing album track? Where will it place? "Break First" and top two
8) Any predictions for which 5 album tracks will place highest, making it into the album tracks rankdown? "Break First", "Cowboy Lullaby", "Telluride", "Love Me to Lie", and "The Bed We Made"
9) Any other thoughts/predictions? This was my first listen thru and overall I felt like I enjoyed the album more than I was expecting to. It does seem like the era was quite mismanaged and given that the songwriters were sued for ripping-off the title track from another song in the same vein (I have no opinion about this one way or the other) it never should've been released as the second single as it pretty much put the nail in the coffin for this album.
{Songs Remaining} Break First Cowboy Lullaby Damn Good At Holding On Devil Callin’ Me Back Love Me To Lie Sleeping In The Stars Speak To A Girl Telluride The Bed We Made The Rest Of Our Life
Overall I feel that this is a stronger album than people give it credit for, but "Roll The Dice" is just plain not good This is the only correct choice on this album for last place. Literally everybody had this in their bottom 2, except for someguy who apparently finds this better than almost half of the rest of the album!

"The Bed We Made" got a fair amount of support throughout the submission process, but it was in the bottom half of a lot of peoples' lists too. I have never been as big about this song as many other people are, so I am pleasantly surprised to see that I got a perfect ranking here! It is so great to hear from Faith again, but tbh the groove of this song just doesn't really work for me. It's almost like they were trying to sing a smoky sex song, but the production and instrumentation totally missed the mark in terms of sounding smoky or sexy. I am sure I would love this a lot if it was more stripped down and intimate.

Contrary to the last few reveals, I feel that "Sleeping In The Stars" got done DIRTY!!!!!! This chorus features some of the most intimate and crisp harmonies on the entire album. Plus the lyrics about trying to console a loved one who is going to be left behind after you die are quite heartwrenching. It does kinda blend in with the rest of the album, so I can see why people might not consider it a standout, but I think this is an incredible song!
"Devil Callin' Me Back" is a fantastic song, but I thought it was almost as hated as "Roll The Dice" just based on the comments I heard when the album was released. I am thrilled that I am not the only one who loves it! First of all, the lyrical premise is epic, with Tim playing the roll of the man who just can't get away from a woman who is a bad influence for him but he can't help but give in to her, and Faith playing the role of the woman, aka the devil.
But what truly blows me away about this song is both of their vocal performances!!! Both Tim and Faith hit some crazy notes in this song, especially Faith! I literally cannot get enough of her high background vocals in this song How about her epic powerful F#5 on "I've gotta get me somewhere" heading into the 2nd chorus?!??!?
Disappointed that this couldn't do a little better, but I am not really surprised considering all that is left.
Alright, that's it for today. I appreciate all the likes I've gotten today, but don't forget y'all are welcome to comment every once in awhile too!
"Roll the Dice" was an easy last place for me as it just comes across as a bit...odd? I can't find the right word to describe the production but it's a bit off-putting.
I quite liked "Sleeping in the Stars" but kind of had a hunch it wouldn't be one of those songs that would be well received. This song didn't quite grab my attention on the first listen, but it really grew on me and I couldn't but help to get wrapped up in the lyrics.
"Devil Callin' Me Back" is a song I liked from the first listen and regret not putting into my top 5 because it's a good tune and is apparently an underrated song from this album.
Somehow I thought I remembered “The Bed We Made” being more of a fan favorite from the album but alas I guess I was mistaken considering it was the second album track out...no complaints from me though.

"Roll the Dice" is slightly better than the title track for me on this album, but it's still one that I don't use. I tend to skip both of those and just listen to the other 9 songs when I put this album on 9/10 times I play it through. It starts and ends on rough notes, but the middle is a great record imo.
"The Bed We Made" got done totally dirty! It should've been at least a few spots higher. The melody is pretty strong and I think Faith delivers a great vocal here. Definitely my least favorite of her leads on the record though, so I can't complain too much.
"Devil Callin' Me Back" is a song that starts out just kinda okay, but the back half is really strong with Tim and Faith trading vocal jabs (her harmonies/ad-libs really elevate the climax of this song so much). It doesn't quite stand out to me as much as the bulk of the duets and Faith-led songs, but I definitely prefer to Timmy's other leads on the record.
