Frusciante's guitar riffs on this song are just so freaking lovely. They're enough to carry a song that would have been kind of average otherwise into another stratosphere.

this wasn't my favorite out of the 80s icons on this list, doesn't hold a candle to songs like Head Over Heels or Shout

Look, I can overlook bad lyrics, but this song takes bad lyrics to another level. The only reason it's not lower is because it's almost impossible for Tears For Fears (well, just Orzabal, at this point) to not put forth a decent song structure.

#19 also feels like a top 20 highest SD, but isn't. 7 top 10s go down, and one lonely bottom 10 goes down. this one never really stayed in the same place in the movements, going up and down until landing at #19.

sorry, I prefer "Go" when it's Les Claypool shouting it before the breakdown in "Jerry Was a Racecar Driver"

Frenzied Pearl Jam doesn't always work, but when it's on point like it is here, it's magical.
I knew it was coming, gates. That does not mean that I'm okay with it.

#18 is the 13th lowest SD, and fittingly so--no bottom 25s! additionally, only 3 top 10s go out. this one slowly inched up to the top 20 range, where it claimed its home for the rest of the rankdown

been a good ride with the Goo's, found some great discoveries from these guys like Black Balloon, and this was a pretty good song to end ranking them with

I've had problems getting online all day and finally get things fixed shortly before reveals.
I wonder if I should have waited until tomorrow to fix it instead.

#17 is a song people have been expecting to leave for a couple reveals now. 2 top 10s, and only one bottom 20. it was never top 10, but it got mighty close

#16 is the highest remaining SD--the 5th highest! 7 top 10s, one of which is a #1. 5 bottom 20s is what led to such a high SD, though

I didn't recognize the title, but I sure as heck recognized the song.
Good rediscovery.
EDIT: On the video, am I the only one who sees the set and thinks I'd Do Anything for Love?

I'm not sure if this is true, but is Doc ranking Primus at 100 the first time a member has ranked a band at both #1 and #100? He ranked N.I.B at #1 iirc

if that reveal stung, #15 will probably be better for you! 3 top 10s, and just one bottom 20. this was top 10 for about a third of the rankdown
