- What songs do you think could be in the top ten? Have a #1 prediction? I'll put my money on Creep winning. Maybe Walking in My Shoes. Fill out the rest of the top 10 with I Feel You, We Are the Normal, Regret, Cherub Rock, Plush (I guess), one or both Pearl Jam songs, Cannonball, one or both Cranberries. Maybe Break It Down Again, No Rain, RHCP.
- What songs do you think could be in the bottom ten? Have a #100 prediction? Does anyone but me like I'm Gonna Be? I think that will be bottom 10 at the very least. Random indistinguishable one offs that know one will remember. Probably UB40 and Darby. U2 songs don't seem like they'll be too popular either.
- What song in your top ten do you think could go out first? Hmm I really don't know. Uh my #8 or #10 maybe?
- What song in your bottom ten do you think could go out last? #94 :3
- Where did you rank your favorite discovery? #21!

- What songs do you think could be in the bottom ten? My Name is Mud, One/both of the Frank Black songs. ![](https://media1.giphy.com/media/ceeN6U57leAhi/giphy.gif) This is one of those years that it could be any of two dozen songs at the bottom. Several people have already indicated that it's very unpredictable outside of a few entries. Let's see how the rankings play out.

- What songs do you think could be in the top ten? Have a #1 prediction? Creep, Plush, Regret and the two Cranberries songs are locks for the top 10. Probably Cherub Rock and No Rain too.
- What songs do you think could be in the bottom ten? Have a #100 prediction? UB40, signed and sealed. Maybe Neneh Cherry too.
- What songs could potentially have high standard deviations? Human Behaviour and My Name is Mud, sadly.
- Likewise, what songs could potentially have low standard deviations? Probably several songs I ranked in the middle.
- What song in your top ten do you think could go out first? 7, 8 or 9
- What song in your bottom ten do you think could go out last? ...
- Where did you rank your favorite discovery? #7

House Lannister I, for one, treated Frank Black well, maybe not Top 10 well, but well ... as far as Primus, no comment Doc Indie Party Rock will be quite upset with 1 of my rankings (unrelated to the above)

I managed to get a list in this time (and before the initial deadline at that). I'll pass on the survey, but this was a really fun and interesting year to listen to, despite initially knowing less than half of the songs. I had generally favorable feelings towards about 85% of the songs here, and the only ones I strongly disliked were my bottom two. (Neither of which were by Bjork, Frank Black, Primus, or UB40.) That said, there are some predicted #1/top 10 picks that I'm not exactly boosting. Also, my favorite discovery was my #14.

so, in lieu of previews, if a song I feel needs a fact given out beforehand before I reveal it as a bit of a "hint", I will do so. otherwise, I suck at previews and it takes up a lot of time so sorry if that's your favorite thing about rankdowns
someone gets two perfectos to start off the rankdown next...

I mean Can't Help Falling in Love isn't too dreadful. Campy as hell yes and kinda boring, but it's at least somewhat pleasant I guess? I ranked low but I can't find it in my heart to hate it really
Also f**k swipe text, I can't type without it but it drives me nuts
One in Ten wasn't a bad first listen from what I remember, but I don't remember it much at all

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to get a bottom two perfecto, but I will take it.
"Can't Help Falling in Love" is unnecessary to the nth degree. It's basically "I'll Take You There" from 1994 on steroids.
"One in Ten" bored me. shrug

This was okay, but 95% of the rankdown was at least "okay". "Okay" was enough to put this song in my bottom ten.

sigh, we’ll chalk that one (Deep Forest) up to western cultural bias...what a beautiful & unique song...& yes, they probably were fans of Enigma but it’s not exactly a carbon copy
