So I find "Til Summer Comes Around" to be a tad on the boring side. I enjoy listening to it when it comes on, but I rarely want to seek it out. I'm okay seeing it miss the top 10 here, because the competition at this point is really stiff! "Little White Church" is one of LBT's best, by a long shot. Many of their other non-ballad songs like "Boondocks" and "Pontoon" and "Day Drinkin'" have a melody that not everybody can get into, and have a tempo that can feel downright lethargic compared to other summertime jams. LWC, on the other hand, is one of those songs that immediately grabs your attention, and has undeniable energy. Karen sings the fire out of this one, and this song is one of the few examples of stomp/clap being used effectively in music. I am sad to see this one miss the top 10. Same goes for "Only Prettier"! This is one of my favorite Miranda songs!!! The melody to this one is undeniable. I am shocked to see myself as one of only two people to put this in their top 10, because I don't usually even feel that strongly about Miranda's music! This one, however, is a jam, and I would have loved to see it in the top 10. It is WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY better than the overrated and overplayed "The House That Built Me"...

Glad "Little White Church" made the top 15 but it still deserved better. It's not even one of my favorite LBT tunes and I adore it lol.

Ugh, so close yet so far!!!!! I was not even expecting Martina to come this far, so this is a nice surprise. Top 10 would have been an even better surprise, but it is what it is ;)
"Wrong Baby Wrong" has such an infectiously positive vibe to it! Definitely should NOT have missed the top 10 on country radio... Pretty much every metric for this song suggested it was going to be a bigger hit than that...

I don't mind "Wrong Baby Wrong," not her worst single by any means, but it's kind of annoying at the same time.

#12. Clay Walker - "She Won't Be Lonely Long"
Total Points: 581 Average: 36.3 Year Released: December 7th, 2009 Mediabase Peak: #4 Billboard Peak: #4 Rankings:tim - 7 Cody Wants Out... - 14 bboat11 - 21 sabre14 - 21 ClevelandRox - 22 Kanenrá:ke - 23 kw9461 - 25 castleoblivion26 - 27 .indulgecountry - 28 g8erboi - 34 George Strait Junkie - 36 toomuchboy - 38 gardyfan - 43 LBTrocks - 50 someguy - 90 recordyear - 102 Following: Mylo13 💜 "She Won't Be Lonely Long" was released as the lead single from Clay Walker's album of the same name in December of 2009. It peaked at #4 in June. The song was Clay's first top 10 hit since "Fall" in November of 2007. It would also be his final top 10 hit at country radio. The song was written by Galen Griffin, Doug Johnson and Phil O'Donnell. The music video was directed by singer-songwriter Marcel.
This is probably in my top 5-6 Clay Walker singles and he had some really good 90's material. It was so country and refreshing, even back in 2010. The steel guitar and fiddle sound great and it's melody is undeniably catchy.

In my defense, I did NOT put Little White Church at #120, I had it at #20. 😂

I don't mind "Wrong Baby Wrong," not her worst single by any means, but it's kind of annoying at the same time. You talk about it like it is a song you don't really like, and then almost put it in your top 40... Lmao how weak is this year to you???!?!

"She Won't Be Lonely Long" was an excellent rediscovery for me Such a great melody! It would have been nice to see this sneak into the top 10, but I am glad this song managed to last this long! I bet it can do top 5 or better in the Clay Walker Rankdown :)

Does this mean "Little White Church" could make the top 10?
Hopefully yes but also this is still a really really strong top 10. 6 of my 10 are here and I'm only hoping for Easton to drop out first. Otherwise I'm in love with them all!
Guessing something like this?
01. Miranda Lambert - "The House That Built Me" 02. Chris Young - "The Man I Want To Be" 03. Josh Turner - "Why Don't We Just Dance" 04. The Band Perry - "If I Die Young" 05. Miranda Lambert - "White Liar" 06. Zac Brown Band - "Highway 20 Ride" 07. Jason Aldean - "The Truth" 08. Zac Brown Band - "As She's Walking Away" 09. Easton Corbin - "A Little More Country Than That" 10. Keith Urban - "I'm In"

Does this mean "Little White Church" could make the top 10? Yup. Obviously won't tell you where but for some reason my fat fingers hit the "1" button before I typed 20 for ClevelandRox in my Excel spreadsheet. I numbered appropriately 14-12 but now I have to reveal #11. The actual #11 haha. "Little White Church" fans can rest easy but for how long?

#11. Keith Urban - "I'm In"
Total Points: 569 Average: 30.5 Year Released: May 10th, 2010 Mediabase Peak: #2 Billboard Peak: #2 Rankings:toomuchboy - 6 Kanenrá:ke - 9 Cody Wants Out... - 13 kw9461 - 14 someguy - 15 bboat11 - 17 g8erboi - 17 sabre14 - 18 recordyear - 22 gardyfan - 27 .indulgecountry - 31 tim - 46 LBTrocks - 57 ClevelandRox - 71 castleoblivion26 - 86 George Strait Junkie - 120 Following: Mylo13 💜"I'm In" was released as the fifth and final single off Keith Urban's Defying Gravity album in May of 2010. The song peaked at #2 in August. It was written by Radney Foster and Georgia Middleman.
The song was recorded twice before. The first by co-writer Radney Foster off his album See What You Want To See in 1999. It was a single but never charted. A year later The Kinleys released their version as a single and it reached the top 30 on the Mediabase chart in early 2001. Nearly a decade later, Keith took the song to #2.
I enjoy the Kinleys version but Keith's took it out of the ballpark. There's so much life in the mix and production and I love the overall approach Keith took for the song. It's so catchy and is such a feel good track for the summer.

One of Keith's most underrated hits, love all 3 versions though!
Seriously think this one get so overlooked for some..less than stellar singles that came out after it.
Also booyah for that prediction!

Also booyah for that prediction! I think "I'm In" was much better than "Put You In a Song" and "Without You", which are the two that followed.

Though “Cop Car” ended his run of bad singles.

GOD BLESS AMERICA "Little White Church" DID make the top 10! No wonder it was so shocking to see it out at 14, cuz it wasn't out at 14 at all! lol Very sad to see "'Til Summer Comes Around" miss the top 10, but at least "Little White Church" got shoved out right after.

Great atmospheric in Til Summer Comes Around. Keith Urban is good at creating nostalgic yet heart wrenching songs. She Won't Be Lonely Long is a bit too slick to me. Plus I don't think his vocal had much presence. I'm In is a feel good song but it shouldn't be in front of Til Summer Comes Around. Highway 20 Ride is a great father-son song by ZBB. The emotions are so much better expressed here than generic pondering in The Owl's tracks. The theme of If I Die Young still rules. Little White Church has a very different vibe from LBT! Quite a badass tune.

Josh Turner - "Why Don't We Just Dance" 2. Chris Young - "The Man I Want To Be" 1. Miranda Lambert - "The House That Built Me"

I'm not confident "The House That Built Me" will win anymore, even though it should, if "If I Die Young" didn't even make top 5.

It reached #1 in March of 2010. The song was written by Rory Feek, Don Poythress and Wynn Varble. It was off Easton's self-titled, debut album.
I loved Easton's debut album. It was definitely his best album and he slowly decreased imo. "A Little More Country Than That" was such a welcome at radio when it came out. The fiddle and steel guitar are front and present and I think his vocals play perfectly with the melody.
