So is it too early or is the new OTR remix just not selling enough to get on the iTunes chart #75 on iTunes, #33 on Apple Flop. Billie and JB are booking him and his 315 versions. |

Yeah nothing is really looking quite as dominant. Even "bad guy" has dropped below #2 a few times during OTR's reign.
But then again, the next "15+ weeks at #1" hit is only a meme away.

There's so little that I can imagine stopping OTR from getting 17 weeks haha. The best I could imagine was a Rihanna/Adele collab maybe featuring another artist with a big fanbase with heaps of promo, becomes a meme or goes generally viral... The odds are strongly against it.
I do want OTR to break the record but ideally it'd stop at 17 so that we could get some fresh blood at the top.

It's only considered impossible until it happens. Will "Old Town Road" make it to 17 weeks at #1? I think it has a good chance but I don't know for sure; nobody does. But even it if doesn't happen, it's only a matter of time before another song and another artist is successful at doing it. |

Looking at the current numbers OTR is getting on YouTube and Spotify at the moment, to be getting 80m+ weekly streams still means it must have great numbers at Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon, etc.?
