RE: streaming services combining the bad guy streams: It's irrelevant though, in terms of the chart week it's gonna be combined anyways, much like the 32 versions of OTR are.
I'd love to see Billie at #1 but I think OTR will stay at the top spot, at least for this week. TBH I'm not even that sad, because the BG remix is awful.

Wait... now Apple Music is combining bad guy's streams from all versions. They usually do this with clean/dirty versions, but not with remixes. Probably because the bad guy remix isn’t labeled as a remix and has the same title as the original |

I'm guessing/hoping the airplay lead of the original is enough to offset the remix's lead on streams and sales.
But then again Beyoncé has a five week #1 song even when her version wasn't the most popular one after the first week, so... Billboard will do what Billboard wants to do.

I don't have predictions for AM specifically. I've on-demand predictions based on Spotify data vs. on-demand data from the previous two weeks (to know if a song is increasing week-over-week in other streaming services). The thing about combining versions for bad guy and not doing this for Old Town Road is that it's really hard to know who's winning on Apple Music. Like... is bad guy's #3 ranking better than OTR's #10 + #25 + #125? I'd like to know... OTR is probably winning on on-demand streaming in this first day of the tracking week, tho. |

This chart week is really exciting! Old Town Road remix + Bad Guy remix + Ed Sheeran's album effect makes this week so interesting, especially this will be "Old Town Road" week on tying with Mariah/Boyz II Men and Fonsi/Yankee/JB. The craziest thing that can happen is Justin Bieber preventing Old Town Road from going to 17 weeks at #1 and tying it with another song that with his effect, climbed it's way to 16 weeks (Despacito).

It looks like it will have the sales lead, too, so sales and airplay will counteract each other. So, yeah, down to streams, and YT is where "OTR" has been killing it.
