It appears that kworb's radio updates were messed up for yesterday. Nope, just this: Kworb radio is going crazy Audience re-calibration on Mediabase. Everything trended downwards. Every so often AI is recalibrated to account for new trends in radio listening habits.

I had no idea Don Henley was uncredited on "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough"... What BS. Me neither. Iโve only ever seen the song with his name credited, either as an & or featuring. Though his part is small if Iโm remembering the song right.

The original version of OTR was finally "sunsetted" from the Pandora Top Spins chart. The BRC remix still charted at #49.

Every so often AI is recalibrated to account for new trends in radio listening habits. Mediabase has been adding a lot more markets lately. My market (Binghamton, which I think is somewhere in the 200s in size) recently had a few stations added for the first time ever, so they definitely have a bigger sample than Nielsen. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that Mediabase is compiled by humans instead of just automated software but there's definitely more growth with their panels.

"Seรฑoritaโ posts outstanding marks in the latest callout report.
by Brian Cantor Based on its strong consumption numbers, Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabelloโs โSeรฑoritaโ is resonating with music buyers and streamers.
Based on its strong numbers in the new Mediabase/Critical Mass Media callout report, the collaboration is also connecting with pop radio listeners.
Per the report, which draws data from a survey of pop radio listeners, โSeรฑoritaโ is receiving a positive reaction from 72.3% of listeners, a negative reaction from 12.3% of listeners and thus a โnet positiveโ score of 60%. It additionally has a โfavoriteโ rating from 29.8% and a โburn rateโ from a low 4.2%.
Of the 17 songs featured in this weekโs report, โSeรฑoritaโ boasts the best positive, negative and net positive scores. It meanwhile has the lowest burn rate and fourth-best favorite rating.
To put it simply, pop radio listeners are loving โSeรฑorita.โ It should thus have no trouble continue its march toward #1 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Any predictions if Happier will jump up.a few spots? The one YouTube clip for the tournament itself has 12 million views; not sure about others.

Actually, bill, bored is correct. Don Henley (like Phil Collins omission during "Easy Lover's" H100 run) is not credited on the H100 chart or the Hot . See Google Books - scroll to page 86 for H100 when SLJAE is at #2. He's also not included on Top 40 Radio Monitor, Top Single Sales and Hot Adult Contemporary charts. And it was a space issue on those narrow column segment charts because other duets are credited. books.google.com/books?id=EBIEAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA5&source=gbs_toc&cad=2#v=onepage&q&f=false

Yes, the title of SLJAE was so long, that there was no room for Henley's name.
Record Research doesn't credit them, though Billboard, for all-time lists, credits the "Friends" that accompany Dionne Warwick on "That's What Friends Are For." The single sleeve included their names, even though Billboard at the time credited it simply to "Dionne & Friends."

- Audience recalibration on Mediabase; - No sales predictions from Kworb; - Spotify combining the original version of OTR with the RM remix and then separating both versions during the tracking week; - YouTube Charts misteriously not counting 7-8M streams for OTR; - YouTube Charts not updating its weekly top 100; It shouldn't be this hard to predict the Hot 100

Hold up "Ransom" rocketing to Top 10? Nice to have "No Guidance" possibly getting Top 5, it's been a while for Chris Brown to touch Top 5 in the Billboard Hot 100.

August 9, 196901 01 In The Year 2525 - Zager & Evans (5th of 6 weeks at #1)02 02 Crystal Blue Persuasion - Tommy James & The Shondells 03 08 Honky Tonk Woman - The Rolling Stones 04 05 What Does It Take - Jr. Walker & The All Stars 05 07 Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond 06 06 Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town - Kenny Rogers & The First Edition 07 20 A Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash 08 04 My Cherie Amour - Stevie Wonder 09 25 Put a Little Love In Your Heart - Jackie DeShannon 10 09 Baby I Love You - Andy Kim During the late night hours of Friday, August 8th, 1969, and the early morning hours of Saturday, August 9th, 1969, while "In The Year 2525" continued its reign at #1 on the Hot 100, a much darker chapter of the late 1960's was being written on the west coast in the very popular coastal city of LA. For it was on that night that cult leader Charles Manson directed 4 of his followers, one man and three women to go to a particular address on Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills and murder all the people that they found there. This they did, but not before also killing another young man who had just been visiting his friend, the caretaker there. They then entered the main house and tortured, and eventually murdered the 4 people that were staying there, one of whom was rising actress Sharon Tate, who along with her director husband Roman Polanski, owned the house on Cielo Drive. The young director did not happen to be there that night for he was still in Europe working on a movie project. Sharon had only recently returned from Europe herself, and her 3 other friends were there that night to keep the very pregnant Tate company until her husband could return. Manson was doing all this because he wanted to start a race war between the whites and the blacks; an idea he got after listening to the Beatles' 1968 "White Album" and coming to believe that the Beatles were sending him coded messages on how to start such a war (believe it or not) through their song lyrics. Manson and his family were the 1960's peaceful hippie dream turned on its head; instead of spreading love and peace, these "hippies" spread murder and mayhem in their wake. The following night, after the city and the country had awoken to the absolute horror of what had happened on Cielo Drive, Manson and some more of his followers, went to the house of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. Manson directed them on what to do and then left, and the others proceeded to tie up the older couple and then kill them as well. It would take months for the police to tie the murders on those 2 nights to the Manson family, and Charles Manson in particular. Manson's convoluted plan was to kill well to do white people, and have society blame it on the blacks, like the black panthers; this is how he was attempting to start his race war. For those who remember it, the Tate - LaBianca murders of August 1969 seemed to mark a turning point in the country; even 50 years later, there are those who believe that something vital was lost on that August weekend. The murders were so brutal and depraved and like nothing that most people had ever heard or read about before; and that they had been committed by a bunch of hippies from a commune...it was too much for a lot of people to even comprehend. But it happened, and it forever changed the face of the country as the 1960's started drawing to a close.

For those who remember it, the Tate - LaBianca murders of August 1969 seemed to mark a turning point in the country; even 50 years later, there are those who believe that something vital was lost on that August weekend.ย The murders were so brutal and depraved and like nothing that most people had ever heard or read about before; and that they had been committed by a bunch of hippies from a commune...it was too much for a lot of people to even comprehend.ย But it happened, and it forever changed the face of the country as the 1960's started drawing to a close. it got dark as hell in this thread
