Via BDS/Nielsen Music, OTR peaked at 99.1 million (weekly chart).
While OTR's overall streaming is impressive, the on-demand/audio streaming showing is also very impressive, given that it's reigned at No. 1 on that chart for 16 weeks.

OTR got less than 1M streams on Spotify yesterday with the two versions combined in the top 200.

Sunflower > Shape of You though Yes to Old Town Road owning that record as well in 4 months It’s weird I kinda think as songs GLY and Sunflower are better than Shape Of You but SOY is the only one of the three with any real personality of that felt like a real decade-defining smash, even if it’s status as such is greatly annoying. But I at least somewhat get it. But like if you were to ask me to name the 3 defining Maroon 5 or Post Malone songs neither of their 30+ weeks in the top ten songs are what springs to mind. Ofc that’s all subjective and varies from person to person

I wonder if he can go #1, cuz he won’t have much competition outside of Billie and Ed.

Album, sure.
Hot 100? Probably not. B-Sides aren't that exciting tbh.

It sounds like it's mostly songs that have been available in some form beforehand too just not available commercially, with not much being truly new to his fanbase. I'm sure it'll do well in SPS, but I don't foresee any specific track from it latching on.

It’s just songs that have been on YouTube for years (most of them 5+). It’ll do similar to So Far Gone’s streaming release in February (45K first week).
Pretty sure he keeps uploading old music to just finish out some contract at this point.

Retro Hot 100 - August 8, 1992“Achy Breaky Heart”, “Take This Heart”, “Hold On My Heart”, “Give U My Heart”, “Restless Heart”, “Just Take My Heart”, and "Nothing Broken But My Heart”. So hearty. Madonna’s “This Used To Be My Playground”, a stand-alone single featured in “A League of Their Own” but not on the soundtrack, and a contribution to the Summer Olympic Games release Barcelona Gold - becomes her 10th Hot 100 #1 hit, breaking the tie for most among female solo acts with Whitney Houston - at least temporarily. Whitney evens the score again with “I Will Always Love You” hitting #1 within 4 months. Notably, “This Used To Be My Playground” was only #3 on both metric charts this week, and it very narrowly dethroned “Baby Got Back” due to airplay - which consisted solely of Top 40 stations at the time. Certified Gold, #1 CHR R&R (4 weeks), #2 Billboard Airplay, #3 Sales, #4 AC, and #21 on Year-end. Boyz II Men come very close to taking #1 with “End of the Road,” - another summer movie ballad - as the entire top 4 is a photo finish. Next week they begin their historic 13-week run at the top, which earns them the #1 song of the year, #6 of the decade, and ranks just outside the top 50 of all-time. Certified platinum, #1 Pop, #1 R&B, #1 Rhythmic, and R&R’s #1 CHR song for 6 weeks. TLC’s 2nd hit “Baby-Baby-Baby” will pull into runner-up position next week, where it will stay and peak for 6 weeks. The other song to be kept from #1 by “End of the Road” is Patty Smyth’s “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” (with an uncredited Don Henley), also for 6 long weeks. {Read More}Guns N’ Roses scores its 4th and final top 5 hit with “November Rain” -- following “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Paradise City”, and “Patience.” It will peak at #3, get certified Gold, while also reaching #15 Rock, #19 Pop, #2 R&R/CHR, and #17 on the Year-end chart. With a near 9-minute running time, it’s holds the record for the longest Hot 100 hit to reach the top 10. There are several promotional radio edits, however, the shortest being a radio friendly 3:57 (Michael Martin KIIS Edit).
George Michael’s “Too Funky" spends a single week in the top 10 - his 13th song to reach the top tier as a solo act, or 19th time if including Wham! hits. He’ll make it back into the top 10 twice more in 1996 ( with “Jesus to a Child” and “Fastlove”) which also mark his 2 final Hot 100 appearances to date, save for 2 briefly re-charting hits after his passing, and his involvement in WHAM’s holiday perennial “Last Christmas” which just reached a new peak of #25 in 2018. “Too Funky” is certified Gold, #2 R&R/CHR, top 10 Pop, #20 Dance Club Play. RIP George.
TOP 20
Jodeci comes within striking distance of scoring their 1st top10 hit with “Come & Talk to Me", but will have to settle for a #11 peak. Their only Hot 100 top 10 happens the following year, when their Unplugged cover of Stevie Wonder’s (minor) 1981 hit ballad “Lately” connects in a big way and goes top 5 in 1993.
Technotronic moves into the top 20 for their 3rd and final time with “Move This". This will peak at #6, joining the top 10 peaks of “Pump Up the Jam” and “Get Up! (Before The Night Is Over)”, all from the same album.
Elton John moves into the top 20 for the 34th time with “The One", which will also become his 24th top 10 hit and 11th #1 on the AC chart.
Kris Kross’s “Warm it Up”, their follow-up to the 8-week #1 smash, “Jump” (#36 this week), peaks at an unlucky #13. They’ll rack up 2 more top 20 hits for a total of 4, but just the one top 10. RIP Chris Kelly.
The Cure move up a spot to #18 after being stuck at #19 for a whole month with “Friday I’m in Love". This peak is good enough to be their 2nd biggest Hot 100 hit ever after “Lovesong” (#2, 1989), and also tops the Alternative chart for a whole month.
TOP 40
Michael Jackson’s 29th top 40 hit as a solo artist, “Jam," peaks at #26 after airplay stopped shy of the top 20 and sales just barely in the top 40 this week. It’s the first official single from a proper MJ album to miss the top 20 since the lead single from his 1973 Motown album “Music & Me”, which stalled at #50. Top 5 peaks on both R&B radio and Dance Club Play. RIP MJ.
K.W.S. make their top 40 debut with their 90s dance cover of “Please Don’t Go", which remains their only Hot 100 entry. The song will peak at #6 and earn top 50 placement on the year-end chart, making KWS a great candidate for "one hit wonder” consideration in the US.
Bobby Brown nets his 7th of 11 career top 40 hits as a solo artist, and “Humpin’ Around” will be his final top 5 hit to date. #3 Hot 100, #1 R&B, #6 Pop and Rhythmic, #2 R&R/CHR, and top #15 Dance Club Play. Certified Gold and #33 Year-end.
U2’s 4th single from “Achtung Baby” “Even Better Than the Real Thing" becomes their 9th of 16 career top 40 hits. #1 on Rock, and top 5 Alternative, it’ll top out at #32 on the Hot 100.
THE REST
Brooks & Dunn’s decision to release line-dancing favorite “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” as a commercial single is paying off as strong sales alone continues to push it into the top 50. During this time, most country artists didn’t release commercial singles, as airplay inclusion on the Hot 100 was limited to BDS-monitored Top 40/Mainstream stations plus some “top 40 radio playlists” (which aren’t included in the BDS data) - making it nearly impossible for country to chart on the Hot 100 without a commercial release and/or substantial crossover airplay, i.e. “Achy Breaky Heart” (#6 this week with #2 sales and #41 airplay). This all changes in December of 1998 when the BDS radio panel used for the Hot 100 is more than doubled, and includes other formats like R&B and country, and non-commercial singles are available to chart off airplay alone (as long as they’re in the top 75 of the airplay chart).
Nirvana makes their 3rd of 4 appearances on the Hot 100. “Lithium" is only a moderate hit at rock radio, with little to no attention from Top 40, but the commercial single has extras on it, driving strong enough sales to chart on the Hot 100 for 9 weeks. RIP Kurt.
George Lamond logs his 4th of 5 career Hot 100 hits with “Where Does That Leave Love", but fails to crack the top 40 with just one of them, “Bad of the Heart" in 1990 (#25).
Mitch Malloy scores his 2nd of 2 minor Hot 100 hits, following “Anything At All” (#49) earlier this year. As of 2018, he's the latest lead singer of Great White, but not “Jack Russell’s Great White” - feel free to google that mess if you’re curious.
The Soup Dragons rack up their 2nd of 3 career Hot 100 entries. It’s a multi-format radio hit that becomes their first and only top 40 on the Hot 100.
Indigo Girls log their 2nd of 3 Hot 100 entries with “Galileo", which unfortunately doesn’t achieve any upward movement at Pop, but peaks at #10 on Alternative.
Wilson Phillips charts their 7th and final Hot 100 hit, “Give It Up", which will also be their only chart hit to miss the top 20, peaking at #30. Note: The 3rd single from this project “Flesh and Blood” tops out at #115 on Bubbling Under and they disbanded for 12 years. “Hey Santa!” (credited as Carnie and Wendy Wilson, from their holiday album) just missed the Hot 100 during the 1993 holiday season, peaking at #101.
The Movement crosses over to top 40 radio with a censored version of their #1 club hit “Jump!", and manage a Hot 100 debut, ultimately peaking at #53. Group member Richard “Humpty” Vission goes on to remix many A-lister hits for the clubs, including several for Madonna in the late 90s and throughout the 2000s.
Monie Love debuts and peaks at #96 with “Full Term Love” - her 2nd of 3 career Hot 100 hits - with a song from the movie “Class Act”. It fairs a little better on the R&B chart, peaking at #47. man all these songs are great! 1990 1991 and 1992 are my fav years with 1989

Omerta/Money in the Grave were released the same way. This was just for fans to enjoy, not to fulfill any contractual obligations.

Also an easy way to start making money for his own label while he records his next album.
It's weird that the old label didn't own these tracks, maybe Drake has quietly bought his masters.

He's off Cash Money. The Best In The World Pack was initially copyrighted to Young Money Entertainment/Cash Money Records, but it was eventually changed to ''OVO; ℗ 2019 Frozen Moments, LLC, under exclusive license to Republic Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc.'' OVO just serves as a placeholder. Some details about the album weren't gotten right before it got released and I'm guessing they wanted to be on time with the release so they rushed to put it out. Only ''Aubrey Graham'' is credited in the song credits, that'll get edited, along with the copyright information. Check back in a few days.

Kworb radio is going crazy Audience re-calibration on Mediabase. Everything trended downwards. About time, I suppose. Do Mediabase and Nielsen have such vastly different numbers because the panels are different? It just seems like each format’s core stations and markets would be largely similar, but not enough to account for a 25% or more difference.

Whoa OTR loses a lot on Spotify despite the 17th week coverage in media.
I think it gains in sales though so the outcome might be +-0

^There had been one of few months back. We'll see if the audiences levels for the top songs do decrease as a consequence or whether it was a blip in the database.
