I figure I would log on much later to spare me of any more heart ache. 85. She Takes My Breath Away - Eddie Money Question/ why do they feel they have to change their sound as they get older? This was first time listen for me. Upgraded it for Eddie's vocals always strong and always sounds like he is actually singing with that crooked smirk. Final thought? Eddie was getting old. he went from "Shshsh Shaken' to "She Takes My Breath Away" 84. Hot Cherie - Hardline I've come to realize that if your band makes a song with the word "hot" in it PULSE incorporated is gonna tank you. For me its the other way around. I use the word "hot". about 20 times a day. I can describe a car, a woman, the day, A phrase, clothes..I can pretty much describe anything with the word "hot"..and this song song is "HOT". Also if the song is too 80's glam the PULSE police will penalize you. :kii: 83. There Will Never Be Another Tonight - Bryan Adams Where the hell is "Can't Stop This Thing We Started" that's the one I like. 82. I Can't Dance - GenesisThis song is garbage. They were not even trying to come up with anything remotely thought provoking. At least Def Lepp told to us to "Make Love Like A Man, this fool can't even dance. BTW where the hell is that other trash bin worthy Genesis travesty? 81. What You Give - TeslaThere is no such thing as "right Tesla song out first", but at least the more screamy one is still in the running. This is a hell of a rocker tho. I wonder where "Edison's Medicine" is? 80. Love Is on the Way - Saigon Kick I like this one, but it never blew me away in any particular way. The best thing about it is the Title. proper Glam Metal title, but failed on the style. It didn't set my chart afire either. Too acoustic -like. 79. What God Wants, Part I - Roger Waters Too Pink Floydy, but i did like the guitar works. 78. No Regrets - Tom Cochrane Decent for Tom. I like his vocals quite a bit. 77. Call It What You Want - Tesla Oh F U C K off really? This too much for sensitive ears. This is the most Warrant sounding one here. 76. Take a Chance - Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band This one was kinda there. Normally I don't like songs that are this repetitive,, but I really like the melody he used throughout the song. 75. Where You Goin' Now - Damn Yankees Can't even appreciate a great Power ballad with this bunch. Butterflies & Hurricanes . Not with this song, but you can bet your sweet dreams I'm going to lose one really early when "Coming Of Age" comes around....and I'm going to rant about it too. :kii: 74. 57 Channels (And Nothin' On) - Bruce Springsteen I really wanted to rank this 57 slots under #50, but that would have sunk it right out of the Rd. What the actual F U C K was Bruce trying to do with this mess of sounds. Bruce sounded like mark Knopfler on LSD. 73. Wild on the Run - Tall Stories I remember this one, but just barely. Good guitars but needed better song writing skills. 72. Keep the Faith - Bon Jovi I like everything about Rock Bon Jovi. John could stand there and fart into the mic and I would probably dig it. I'm making my list of the "Faithless ones" right now. 71. Dream Until Tomorrow - Lynch Mob Correct one out first. This was band was decent. "River Of Love". Now that one ROCKS ! I would have put that one in my top 15, but they didn't have the fire that Dokken had. I wonder how many know that George was Dokken's lead Giutarist? I wonder if I just ruined this band for anyone here? :kii:

EXTRAS:Highway to Hell (Live) - AC/DCThis was supposed to be the Brian Johnson version. Strong song, but Brian couldn't deliver it the way Bon Scott did . Just the way i feel Bon could not have done what Brian Did on his own classic era. This one still sets the crowd on fire, and it would have ended really high on my Rd. If we ever rank the extras I'm going to perform just as great as I always do. Change of a Season - BonhamProof that 70's Metal is the Father of 80's Hair/Glam MEtal. This song is good. Sounds a lot like Vinnie Vincent Invasion when Mark Slaughter was lead singer. Killer guitar solo. Midlife Crisis - Faith No MoreProof that you and I are like black to white. This would have landed face down in my tank. That vocal delivery is Sore city to my ears. Mary in the Mystery World - Electric BoysYeah I got this album. Very much like Enuff' Z Nuff with a bit of that psychedelic touche. Who else charted "All Lips 'n Hips"? Just me? Of course it was just me. ;) Just a Loser - Robert CrayToo busy charting guitar fiercness to bother with blues. Not bad tho, just not in the right era. Rockin' Is Ma Business - The Four HorsemenWhy do I feel like this could be charting today? This was terrible in the vocals dept. Totally ruined the listening experience for me. Makin' Some Noise - Tom Petty & the HeartbreakersTom Petty always delivers. I have this cd too. Brand New Amerika - The Poorboys One thing I never liked was the pig image on album covers. I'll take T&A anyday over the pig. Always gave me the feel they are trailer trash. This song is ok. Pretty Tied Up (The Perils of Rock N' Roll Decadence) - Guns N' RosesI love Guns N' Roses before they began to suck, what I hated were those rock fans that wanted to say the band was not Hair/Glam Metal for fear of them not being cool. My answer? Suck it up. they are hair Metal. Check out Hollywood Rose. They even borrow Mötley Crüe "Live Wire" riff. Viva Las Vegas - ZZ TopThis is more Elvis then you wanna realize. Nobody Hears - Suicidal TendenciesThis is pretty good. I wans't into this in the 90's ,but it was pretty good. The Wild Life - SlaughterMark Slaughter had larger than life vocals. Such a great band. This song is pure fire. I could have came up with a much better top 100 Active rock songs of 1992 that better suited my needs with all these extras. Would? - Alice in ChainsI like Alice In Chains and Slaughter at same level. Both had great vocals, riffs and fire. This particular song pulls you in with the intro. Kinda like the Godsmack intros of "Voodoo". Levon - Jon Bon JoviLike I mentioned before Those Bon Jovi vocals take the songs to another level. It does sound like 100% Elton John, but Jon does it well too.

70 Songs and Not a Lot Left:
85. She Takes My Breath Away: I like Eddie Money, but he just feels like he's going through the motions here. The music was decent, though.
84. Hot Cherie: The vocals were decent, but the song was otherwise forgettable.
83. There Will Never Be Another Tonight: Now this is the Bryan Adams that I can mess with. Not the soupy, soapy ballads he usually saved for the movies. But the faster tempo, rocking Adams. Psst, Doc: You're not the only one who likes Can't Stop This Thing We Started.
82. I Can't Dance: The guitars and keyboards were fine here, but what's up with the water glasses as an instrument? (dink) Especially when it kept interrupting the OK vocals by Collins. (dink) Felt a bit like Chinese water torture after a while. (dink)
81. What You Give: Confession time: This was my favorite Tesla song for this rankdown. But since I placed it in the 80s, I didn't care for any of them and it came down to the annoying lead singer's vocals.
80. Love is On the Way: Yeah, marginally better than the last Saigon Kick song. But I debated whether it was OK or merely a meh, and that didn't help its ranking any for me.
79. What God Wants, Part 1: FINALLY! I don't know why you thought this was 15 songs better than the Roger Daltrey song? It got off to a bad start and just kept getting worse. Imagine that Keep Talking song, but take away 90 percent of the merit (only the backup singer kept this from beating Ugly Kid Joe).
78. No Regrets: I had no regrets placing this song high. A solid blues rock song with a strong guitar and a nice ending. I suppose you prefer the Rascal Flatts version of Highway as well?
77. Call It What You Want: And that was my second highest Tesla ranking. I can appreciate the guitar trying here, but those vocals checked me out before the end.
76. Take a Chance: There was a decent song in here except for those weak lyrics. The guitars were solid and the vocals were OK.
75. Where You Goin' Now: I get the hate towards the other song, but this is a bit silly. It's like hating on Chris Brown's early stuff because of the Rihanna assault. All this nonsense about Ted Nugent being pro-Trump and anti-human didn't happen until 2016, y'all. Odds are that Higher will do better than my ranking for this one, by the way.
74. 57 Channels: The lyrics on this song were great! It told a story of a man who was slowly losing his mind because he couldn't find something to watch on TV. That's where the repetition of the title actually helps here. Add a solid guitar and it's borderline criminal that this couldn't find a spot in the top half. Guilty of bad decision-making. (Bangs gavel) Next case!
73. Wild on the Run: The first thirty seconds were odd, but this sounded like a poppier Van Halen and that wasn't a bad look to be honest. The lead here would probably have been an improvement over the Van Extreme years.
72. Keep the Faith: There was maybe one part that didn't click for me when Jon started to rant. But 80 percent of the song clicked because the guitar was on point and this felt like it wasn't going through the motions.
71. Dream Until Tomorrow: This was the slightly better of the two Lynch Mob songs, but not by much. Vocals were decent, the band was fine, but it could have trimmed its length and been a slightly tighter song.
Tonight: Perhaps it's time for a John Cougar Meh-encamp purge. And lose that one Eric Clapton song, please.
Extras: Not gonna lie, I think that Elvis cover by ZZ Top sounded more like them than any other song we've rated so far. Fierce guitars, solid vocals, more please. Would would have been fairly high, but not quite a number one for me. I think we covered Midlife Crisis yesterday and although it wouldn't have been my number one, it might have made my top 10.

All this nonsense about Ted Nugent being pro-Trump and anti-human didn't happen until 2016, y'all. "In an interview in 1990, a few months after the release of Nelson Mandela during the negotiations to end apartheid in South Africa, Nugent stated: "apartheid isn't that cut-and-dry. All men are not created equal." He described black South Africans as "a different breed of man" who "still put bones in their noses, they still walk around naked, they wipe their butts with their hands"." At various times he has labeled Clinton a "worthless bitch", "toxic cunt", and "two-bit whore for Fidel Castro". On Facebook he shared a video depiction of Clinton being shot by her 2016 Democratic presidential primary opponent, Bernie Sanders, commenting "I got your guncontrol [sic] right here bitch." "In January 2014, Nugent called Obama a "communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel"." "At a concert on August 22, 2007, while wielding what appeared to be assault-like rifles, Nugent said in reference of Obama, "suck on my machine gun". In the same gun wielding rant, Nugent said of Dianne Feinstein, "ride one of these you worthless whore"." yeah ok

Or how one of his most famous songs is about wanting to hook up with a 13-year old girl.Ted Nugent has always, ALWAYS been a supreme asshole. He has been awful from day one.
