Pulse Rankdown: 1992 Year-End Active Rock Chart (Revealed)

1) PM me (rowellfarm490 ) your rankings of the top 100 Active/Mainstream Rock songs of 1992. Rank the songs by your preference from #1 (best) down to #100 (worst).
2) An inverse point system will be used to determine the point total for each song. Song #1 gets 100 points, #2 gets 99 points... all the way down to #100 which gets 1 point.
3) The due date for submission is Sunday August 25, 2019 at 4PM EST. Do not expect extensions to be given. Make good use of your time. Become familiar with songs you don't know early on.
4) ALL songs must be ranked.
5) To avoid sending me a list with extra lines, please click BBCode below the text box before you paste your list.
6) The rankings of each participant will be posted when a song is revealed during this Rankdown.

Welcome to the 1992 Active Rock rankdown! I wasn't planning on being back to host so soon but duty calls and here I am. Just giving this list a quick lookover it is very apparent that the 80s are approaching fast while the 90s are coming to a close.

Several prominent artists from the 1980s make their rock rankdown debut here. These include Bryan Adams, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Eddie Money, Bob Seger, and Genesis. Also on this list are solo releases from Tom Cochrane (Red Rider), Roger Daltrey (The Who), Dan Baird (The Georgia Satellites), and Roger Waters (Pink Floyd). In addition, this will be the first time we rank INXS and The Cure on an Active rankdown.

On the other hand we've reached the end of an era for many 1990s staples. This will be be our last time ranking songs from Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana will also be making their final Active rankdown appearances.

Among the active-only songs on this list we will get to rank 3 songs each from Metallica's The Black Album, Ozzy Osbourne's No More Tears, and Rush's Roll the Bones. Def Leppard, Genesis, Tesla, The Black Crowes, John Mellencamp, Eric Clapton, and Bruce Springsteen also have at least 3 songs on this rankdown for your enjoyment. ...And there are many more active-only songs just waiting for their chance to get ranked. I didn’t like his songs here but I found at least 5 songs that were worse

Active really made a piss poor decision by adding "Friday I'm In Love" to an Active Rock format. I'm kinda upset because I like the song, but I can't do miracles with it either.


BTW carefully considering all the Extras this would have been my actual top 10. It features three re-released Rock classics from the 70's, but it only features three songs from the actual YE list, .  I've left those songs in blank on purpose. My #1 is my actual #1 rock song of the year.
