Its true that radio turns on you if your single is pushed and no one likes it, BUT if then that single is followed by a sing that people actually wanna hear & like, radio will forget about the other flops and actually play you.
Examples: Ariana with Side to side, Taylor with delicate etc

Loved the music video, it's a subtle continuation of "Heartless" storyline and has the energy that a song like "Blinding Lights" needs.

Okay... my first thoughts:
I'm annoyed by that car sound! and I like that slow version in the second chorus.
I won't lie, I expected more from the video, but overall, this is cool and there are some great shots.
Also, this video will help the song, I'm sure.

Looking back at the Mediabase top 50 chart, a lot of songs suffered bullet and audience losses/very little gains so "Blinding Lights" wasn't the only one affected.

This is reminding me of Katy's "Unconditionally" and "Dark Horse" situation.
She was pushing the first one but everyone wanted "Dark Horse" so she gave up and released it as a single and it ended up being one of her biggest hits.
Hopefully this ends up being one of his biggest hits as well!
