Wow. OTR dropped from #1 to #3. In before it tumbles out of the top 10 after it's stay at #1 the same way In My Feelings did. Everything comes back to Drake huh :kii: Not my fault he's always slaying. He's literally the last person to have a song spend at least 10 weeks at #1 and then drop right out of the top 10 soon after, but keep cooking.

7 rings (the second single) increasing in its 30th(!!) week on the chart.. not everyone has that! here's some of your faves struggling in their 30th week: Dancing With A Stranger [first release from sam smith to receive promotion in the US in a while] (-1) MEGATRON [hyped up, mv] (isn't even on the chart for like five weeks) Walk Me Home [Global superstar Pink's lead single] (didn't last!) Shallow (probably lost positions) Please Me [anticipated release from CARDI B and BRUNO MARS] (nowhere to be found) Old Town Road (won't be surprised if it's -10) I could keep going but I won't make you feel even worse about your favs. Queen of rap, pop, and r&b (modern-day). a trap classic

Bad Guy is really one of the most defining and memorable 2019 tracks, very happy it went #1 even though I'm not the biggest fan of the song. Here for SeΓ±orita overtaking the following week, though. The #1 drought is finally over!

So did Old Town Road tie or set a new low for a #1 in Digital Song Sales? Checking Wikipedia, the previous low was 28k for Shallow on the April 3rd, 2019. So, yes! Also, that's the third time the record low has been reset in just over a year.

Once that new Apple update rolls around (September I think?) and iTunes no longer is the primary application and instead is merged under Apple Music that will probably be the final hit to digital sales. In the next half year following Iβm sure the #1 selling song will struggle to hit 10K at some point and probably the same with the #1 selling album.
