Even though RITD is higher on my list, I kinda want TD at #1. RITD always wins.

Damn, SO close! Almost makes me wish I had put Katy at number one instead of Adele π© Stellar top two, though!
Thanks for hosting, Max! This was a fun trip down memory lane π

Thanks for pulling this massive rankdown off!
I've been playing "Teenage Dream" a lot recently for some reason, but it's still as good as it was back in 2010. I wish it could've beat RITD since it always wins but there's a reason why RITD wins all the time and that's because it's a really good song.

yasssss the best perfect ranking is a #1 perfect ranking!
That said it will never not annoy me that TD (the single) is Katy/TD (the album)'s least 'celebrated' #1, from a general public perspective. It's easily the most joyous one.
Thanks for hosting, Max!

I take it we all predicted RITD at #1? Either way, I think I was last by a mile.
Thanks for hosting, even though much of this rankdown did not go my way.

I guess that would be a prequel to this rankdown. No immediate plans yet. I'm going to do the Taylor Swift rankdown that's a bit past due and from there maybe I'll plan this one!

Iβll be in for the 2000s number 1s. Umbrella will probably take that one but I hope that the winner could be something else.

{I HAVE TRIED TO RESIST, BUT THE WORD WALL WAS UNAVOIDABLE}#10: "'Run Away With Me' shouldβve been the Carly song that had this kind of success" Really, you could say that about just about every song she made after "Call Me Maybe". RAWM especially, sure, but there's also "Higher", "Julien", "Boy Problems", "Making the Most of the Night"... #9: Not surprised that this is out early in the top ten, but I was hoping this would hold out for a few more spots, because reasons #8: Nah, I'm not surprised by this, either by the divisiveness or it showing up early in the top ten. I still should have swapped this and "This is America". #7: Dangerously close to getting to the point of outwardly rooting against a couple of songs... #6: Not complaining about this beating out "Uptown Funk", really, as there wasn't a lot separating the two, despite the ranking gap. #5: WOW. #4: There's overrated song #1 (or #2, but we already took care of the one). #3: And there's overrated song #2 (or #3, maybe I should have just went with that instead).
Jesus christ, that's a big gap between the top two and the rest of the field. I thought that "Teenage Dream" might have a chance to win, but I didn't think it would join RITD in dominating the rankdown. Of course, I also thought that "Starboy" would be up here, and we all know how that turned out.
#2: Technically, I was the difference. :sip2: But really, I have nothing bad to say about "Teenage Dream" whatsoever. #1: It always wins, but maybe it deserves to. Not as much as "Someone Like You", but you knowwwww Devil Marlena Nylund, no matter how long it takes to finish your rankdowns, you always bring it with the hosting ability and the fun, and isn't that what really matters? Seriously, though, you will always be one of the best. That said it will never not annoy me that TD (the single) is Katy/TD (the album)'s least 'celebrated' #1, from a general public perspective. It's easily the most joyous one. That's interesting, because I feel like the opposite is true, especially as time passes. It's certainly more celebrated than "E.T." and "Last Friday Night", it's less divisive than "Firework" tends to be, and I would argue that it's holding up in the public conscience better than "California Gurls", left and right sharks notwithstanding. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

#10. Call Me Maybe (#107): HOW did this finish so high. I don't usually care if a song is cheesy but this is too much for me. Perfect prediction too!
#9. Set Fire To The Rain (#11): My favorite song from Adele in this era. I love the melody on this. Glad it finished so high.
#8. Somebody That I Used To Know (#112): I honestly underranked this. I've grown to like this a lot more after this RD.
#7. Uptown Funk (#37): Such a catchy and fun song, but a bit on the overplayed side.
#6. Locked Out Of Heaven (#58): I never got the hype for this song. It's too overrated. It's pretty nice but it is not Bruno's best by far.
#5. Starboy (#29): This is such a nice and chill song, but man I got sick of it winning so many RDs.
#4. Blank Space (#30): I like this song a lot.
#3. We Found Love (#85): Overrated tbh.
#2. Teenage Dream (#67): Fun bop that grew on me a lot over the years.
#1. Rolling In The Deep (#101): LMAO of course. I underranked this too. It grew on me so much after this RD
Thanks for hosting!
