The original Pacific Diva mix of it came out in 1993, and numerous remixes, and reworkings have come out since then, most notably 2000 Reactivation mix which was very similar to the original, but a little harder and structured slightly differently.
Those who are big fans of Tori Amos may be aware of the fact that there is an uncredited sample from her song "Me & A Gun" in it. It's the line "do you know Carolina where the biscuits are soft and sweet". It just makes an appearance in the song a couple of times. Some of the remixes use the sample more often.

I first fell in love with this song when I heard it on one of Paul Oakenfold's mixed CDs. He had re-titled the 2000 remix as the Progressive Summer remix. I spent a number of years trying to get that mix in full but never could because that mix didn't exist as it was the Reactivation one mislabeled. A bunch of mixes on his CDs had that issue. I prefer the 2000 mix more as it just works better overall than the original which is more breakbeat oriented and the Pacific Diva one. I love the Michael Woods remix as well as it has a harder progressive edge to it. Of the newer ones, the Allende one is more chill and the Ciaran one is really hard.
