Another random note just to tell you how I'm doing things. My week total will probably be different from Castle's. Not that any of you would have been paying close enough attention to notice 😂 But basically my total is just how many weeks a song spend literally charting. Castle's total includes how many weeks it spends trying to chart before it actually charts.

"Nothing But Love (Standing In The Way)" deserved a lot better than it did. I have always loved that song and still disappointed with how bad it did. Glad their other songs have done better
Excited to see how Blackhawk does going forward because I've long been a HUGE fan of theirs. "Playing With Fire" and "Left Side of Leavin'" should also be fun to watch climb as I think both will have long runs on the chart.
I do think "Gone To Carolina" and "Run Away With You" deserved better as well. Especially Michael Ray, as that is one of my favorites from his first album

Super impressed with "Baby Girl"'s chart run so far! Only 2 weeks on the charts, and it's already done better than like 17 songs! Lol. I'll bet that's a future #1 contender. "Someone Else's Turn To Cry" is off to a strong start too!
"Someone You Used To Know", however, not so much... It's charted for 5 weeks (non-consecutively, btw), and only managed to accumulate 13 points? Looks like Collin's got another flop on his hands.
I'm sad "Back To Us" didn't do better. I mean, RF is just kind of one of the more "meh" performers on this chart, but so far the best song is the lowest....

Brandon Stansell has probably been one of my favorite discoveries through this. With each song that has been added he has grown on me a lot and I think if "Not Tonight" was a single now it would do better
Chalee Tennison, Sugarland, and Collin Raye are only just getting started so I think they will do a lot better as time goes on!

Speaking of impressive chart runs, how about "Landslide"!!!! My goodness! We've got songs that spent two weeks on the charts and only accumulated two points.....but this one has spent two weeks on the charts and already accumulated 27 points!!! I'd say this one is an early lock to be their second #1 hit! Not a bad start for Hal Ketchum either! Hopefully this one can do well for him considering his untimely passing last week... "Daddy Won't Sell The Farm" is an interesting one. For a song to chart for 10 entire weeks and only make it as high as #37 is definitely noteworthy! That longevity helped it to make it quite a bit higher than any other song that peaked that low.

I LOVE "The Eleventh Commandment" and was sad that no one else got behind it but I kinda understand it as well. Still a powerful song.
Also really shocked "Daddy Won't Sell The Farm" did so poorly, especially after their first two songs went top 10.
Definitely think both Eric Church and The Chicks have big hits with "Over When It's Over" and "Landslide". I do hope Hal Ketchum can make it to the Top 20 with "Past the Point of Rescue"

I like how you did the chart!! I thought you were taking the point totals each song had each week, but this is much better. Perched.

Martina missed the year end chart :'( Haha jk it was totally to be expected of course. "Cry Cry ('Til The Sun Shines)" is doing great! Knocking on the door of the top 25 after only 4 weeks on the chart is very reasonable! I'm not confident in its chances to keep going all the way to #1, but I'm happy with its performance so far! Williamstown is doing encouragingly well so far too! "New Strings" is off to a powerful start. She's not that far ahead of Martina on the year-end chart here, but she's been charting for the same amount of weeks and has like 13 entire more points in her total! I'm pretty confident this one will be yet another #1 for Miranda! I forgot we charted FGL back in the beginning

To this day the chart run for "A Home" remains the weirdest thing to have ever happened on this chart. It charted for 16 weeks and only made it to #30 I'd say it definitely must have benefited from being on the chart at the beginning of the year, because with the way the recurrent rules have changed, this would have almost certainly been retired after like 3 weeks. (It charted for two weeks at the beginning, and then literally did not chart again until 5 weeks later!) And speaking of hot starts for Miranda and Martina in the last set, "Over You" is doing pretty great as well! Definitely looks like it'll be a top 5 for Queen Reba at the very least!

Keith Whitley and Diamond Rio are two artist who have continuously been paid dust in this. "Holdin'" and "I'm No Stranger To The Rain" are two songs that deserved so much better.
I remember being so sad that "She's Gotta Be" did so poorly. I've always loved that song.
So happy to see both "Cry Cry ('Til The Sun Shines)" and "Williamstown" doing so well. Hope that is able to continue!

Wow, that set is nearly all songs that are currently charting, and ones that I definitely expect to see on the year-end chart next year! "Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away" in particular feels like one of the highest-impact singles we have lost so far. I'll be shocked if it's not a top 5 contender when all is said and done.
Michael Ray seems to also have recovered nicely with "Everything In Between" after "Run Away With You" flopped!

Vince Gill is a pleasant surprise, he is climbing really fast for a Male artist.
Brandon Stansell continues to slay <3

You've probably noticed that suddenly the hits are getting bigger... In fact, Vince is our first song to cross the 100 point threshold! Now that we've done that, and are coming up on the top 20 of the bubbling under chart, the losses will just keep getting more and more painful!

still sad to see Autumn Hill only barely make the top 30. They've been one of my favorites for years. I love "Can't Keep Waiting" so much. Also "Small Town Saturday Night" deserved better. That song is a classic!

Lauren Alaina is another artist who continues to baffle me in this thread. The way y'all tripped over yourselves to get her to #1 for multiple weeks with one of her worst songs had me completely shook....and ever since then we've let her actual masterpieces tread water and die "The Middle" is not doing well at all! After 12 weeks on the chart it has only made it to #24. Martina is literally breathing down her neck with only 1/3 of the week total, and that's with a song that has absolutely no guarantees of being a #1 contender And oop, not Taylor!!!! "Fearless" is off to a bit of a slower start than the average Taylor song, but knocking on the door of the top 15 after only 9 weeks is not at all shabby :) I bet we'll still see her find her way to #1! (Especially if fearlessarrow actually remembers to come vote regularly)

I love “Small Town Saturday Night” and supported it for most of its run but once it was stalling I had to drop it for other songs.
I hope “Fearless” can get to the top as it’s roughly 36 times better than “Breathe.”
Lauren Alainas debut album really isn’t very good but if she gets a second album there will be several big hits methinks.
“Cry Cry” is just solid/good and not a masterpiece but Martina needed some tempo.

Y'all remember the days when we brought Florida Georgia Line all the way into our top 20?!??! I must have blocked that time period out... Anyone have any prediction for what else will miss out on the top 100 now that we are down to just 15 more songs?? Edit: I'll give y'all a hint.... Very soon we are totally going to lose a song that is currently charting all the way up in the top 10!!!
